(A/N: I apologize if this chapter is a bit shorter than usual, it's just been so long since I've written one.)
*Daniel POV*
It was like the world was in slow motion.
Micah was falling, and there was nothing Josiah or I could do to save him. We were so close to saving the world from Entity 303, but it looked like Micah wouldn't live to help.
Suddenly, it looked like Micah just disappeared. Something (or someone) flew by insanely fast to pick Micah up and placed him safely on a nearby platform. Micah was shaking.
"What... what was that??" Josiah asked, shocked.
"I don't know," I responded. "But we need to get over to him. NOW."

Luckily, by the time Josiah and I reached Micah a few minutes later, the hooded figure who saved him was still there.
"Hold it right there, Tokyo Drift. Who do you think you are?" I confronted. "Yeah, don't think you can just save our brother and leave as if it were nothing!" Josiah agreed.
"If you insist," the stranger sighed. He lifted the cover of his head.
I was in shock. I could recognize that goatee and fedora anywhere.
Micah gasped. "You!!"
"But... you're... I mean you're..." Josiah stuttered understandably.
"Notch," I breathed.
"I guess I do owe you some explanations, since I also happened to save a couple of your brothers just a few minutes ago," Notch, the creator of Minecraft, replied calmly.
"You mean Elijah and Judah?!" I exclaimed. I wonder what kind of trouble they could've gotten themselves into. Then that made me think of Shiloh and if Herobrine is actually keeping his promise with us. I just hope everyone else is alright...
"Yes, those two got in a bit of a pickle with some skeletons while crossing a lava pool. They should be fine now, though, as long as they're careful in the Bastion," Notch explained. "But anyways, I know you have a lot of questions about Herobrine, Entity 303, and other things, so ask away."
* * *
"Okay, let me get this straight," Josiah started. "Entity 303 was an ex-employer of Mojang who wanted to cause harm to users in the real world by tricking them into making a wish?"
"And then he got sucked into the game, which made him target what the M.O.M. calls Beacons to get out of the Overworld?" I asked.
"Yeah, you got the gist of it," Notch affirmed.
"But what about Herobrine?" Micah asked. "Why is he such a confusing character?"
"That... I don't even know myself. He originally used to just be some corrupted code, but now I think he might be becoming sentient," answered Notch. "The good news is that your family might be changing his ways with the threat of Entity 303."
"I hope that's the case," I sighed. "It turns out that Herobrine's just been misunderstood this whole time. He was probably trying to warn us about 303 this whole time!"
"We've got to hurry," Notch said. "I know you all are suiting up for a final battle with the Entity, but we're running out of time. I can get you the equipment you need in no time, so we need to get to The End immediately."
"Let's go! It's time to save the universe... again." Micah exclaimed as Notch teleported us out of the Nether, preparing us for this final ultimate clash...
