chapter two.
sadie stirred in her sleep as she heard her alarm go off. somehow it had became monday morning, her first official day of being a photographer.
the time stood at 7:20am giving the girl until 2:00pm to have time to herself before she had to go into work. sadie groaned as she made her way to the kitchen, towards the coffee pot. sadie put on gilmore girls on the tv, to have some background noise.
as the girl let her coffee pot heat up she grabbed her computer and looked through the drive of photos she had sent herself. looking through the photos her eyes were drawn towards paige. sadie would be lying if she said she didn't find paige attractive.
she had always found the blonde attractive, but she never expected anything to come out of it. her eyes always found the blonde in the most random places. she was just always there, you couldn't ignore her presence even if you tried.
sadie slightly jumped once she heard the coffee pot finish due to being in a trance. the tanned girl pushed the computer off her lap, as she made her way over towards the kitchen.
sadie made her way towards the bathroom to do her hair to pass time by. the girl didn't have much to do today considering she got her work done last night.
sadie played music as she ran the straightener over her hair, making her curls disappear. the girl finished her hair within an hour, the time was growing closer meaning she had about an hour left before she had to be at the gym.
sadie picked out a plain black tank top to wear as she paired it with some simple jeans. the girl did her makeup as she listened to her mix of music, getting in a better mood for the day.
sadie walked into the gym with her camera bag on her arm and her phone being carried by her hand. the girls on were on the court doing small warm ups before geno came in.
sadie placed her camera down on the bleachers as she sat down. the girl pulled out her phone and scrolled on it until she heard geno walk in. sadie got to work taking photos while the girls practiced. she tried her best to make it even and get enough photos of each girl.
the practice went by fairly quickly. sadie began packing her camera but was stopped once she felt someone standing behind her. sadie turned around facing the blonde.
"yes?" sadie questioned being confused on why paige was standing behind her. paige offered the girl a slight smile before speaking.
"would you like to come over at mine and azzis tonight? most of the girls will be there." paige asked with a look of hope in her eyes. sadie wanted to say yes, but she wouldn't be staying true to herself and she would overwhelm herself.
"how about some other night? i have major work to do tonight." sadie gave a slight smile feeling bad about lying. sadie wished she could say yes and hang out everytime someone asked, but she wouldn't allow herself to.
"oh yeah, no problem." paige replied before walking away. sadie let out a sigh but grabbing her bag and walking out the door. the girl ran her fingers through her hair as she got in her car. she laid her head on the wheel for a minute before whispering to herself.
"stupid."
sadie was interrupted as she read her book by a knock being placed on her door. she was slightly confused, the only person who knew where she lived was her dad.
sadie got off the couch and made her way to the door.the girl looked through the peephole of the door and saw blonde hair.
"paige? what are you doing here?" sadie asked looking at the blonde. paige smiled before replying.
"keeping you some company, that's what." paige replied making sadie move to the side allowing her to walk in. sadie mentally sigh as she shut the door.
"so where's all this work you're supposed to be doing brown?" paige asked leaning on the counter in the kitchen. sadie looked at the girl before answering.
"nonexistent. i did all of it last night." sadie answered with a sigh. paige let out a small laugh as sadie came clean.
"bother to tell me why you lied?" paige asked looking at the girl. sadie rolled her eyes slightly before answering the blonde.
"i like my alone time, but what i wanna know is how you found my apartment." sadie said crossing her arms over her chest.
"i have my ways. but lets watch a movie or something." paige replied walking over towards the couch, throwing sadies book to the other side.
"did you not hear me when i said i like my alone time or are you just ignoring it?" sadie said sitting down across from paige. paige slightly smirked before replying.
"ignoring." sadie nodded her head before turning her attention on the tv. paige picked a random movie to watch as sadie sat in confusion of the movie.
"i dont get this? what the fuck is going on?" sadie questioned looking at the blonde with furrowed eyebrows. paige just shrugged ignoring the girls questions. sadie huffed out as she sat back on the couch, trying to make sense of the movie.
paige looked over at sadie letting a small smile slip out. she couldn't help but laugh at the fact sadie was making at the movie.
"this is some bull dude. what kind of movie did you put on?" sadie asked turning to look at the blonde. paige shrugged once again, but not answering.
"are you gonna give a shrug everytime i ask a question and then not answer it?" sadie asked. paige shrugged once more. sauce groaned as she grabbed a pillow before throwing it at the blonde making her laugh.
"okay not that i dont enjoy your company, but im tired and tomorrow is my free day." sadie said getting off the couch. paige caught on to what the girl was wanting.
"well im glad you let me keep you company. good night sadie brown." paige said winking at the girl. sadie rolled her eyes but let a small smile slip out.
sadie knew deep down dealing with paige would either be fun or bug the crap out of her.
BAD IDEA.
