chapter nine.

the sun beamed through sadies apartment windows as she cleaned around the place. it was a friday afternoon and the girls had basketball practice but would be showing up to the girls apartment later.

sadie was quite happy about the hangout, lately she had been caught up with school and hasn't got to come around them. majoring in psychology was a lot of work, especially when it was focusing on addiction.

sadies scented candle made it smell like vanilla all over the apartment. the girl had thirty minutes to clean until all her work would be messed up anyways. once sadie was done cleaning the best she could, she flopped down onto the couch.

she decided on watching a random movie as she waited for the girls to arrive. the tanned girl fought against sleep the whole time. the girl had hardly been sleeping due to all the work she's been doing and all the test she's been taking. she needed a break, luckily she got one.

sadie was pulled out of focus on the movie as she heard multiple loud knocks on the door. sadie happily made her way over, opening the door.

she was met with all of them smiling and carrying bags. sadie moved to the side letting them in and place their stuff down beside the door. sadie took her previous spot on the couch, but now she sat beside paige.

"how's your week been?feels like we barely seen you." paige asked looking over at the tanned girl with a slight smile.

"exhausting. i need a break, schools going to kill me." sadie stated with a sigh as she fell back into the couch. paige looked at the girl for quick moment before speaking.

"what if we go on a break. we don't have classes next week or practice, so it's a good time to go." paige spoke but this time she was speaking for everyone to hear.

"i love that idea. we all need to get out of here." aubrey replied, all the girls simultaneously agreed with her. sadie slightly smiled before speaking.

"flordia. let's go to florida. i miss the beach." sadie stated, all the girls nodded as paige just simply smiled at the girl. paige had a plan that would take place tomorrow, no matter where they were.

"what?" sadie asked with a slight smile on her face. paige just shook her head, looking away from the girl. sadie hoped off the couch before walking into her room and dragging a giant white cover behind her, back towards the living room.

as the night went on, sadie and paige sat close together on the couch underneath the cover. sadie was wrapped in the blondes arm as she fought her sleep. the rest of the girls either sat on the big chair or in front of the couch.

sadie found herself slightly nodding off every few moments but was woke up due to kk yelling or laughing about something.

"kk, hush." paige spoke out with a stern tone, grabbing the attention of the girl who sat in the floor. kk looked over towards the two on the couch and saw sadie asleep.

"sorry." kk quickly apologized before looking back at the tv. paige ran her fingers through the tanned girls hair.

sadie slightly groaned as she felt herself being picked up off the couch. she immediately flung her arms around the blonde as paige picked her up.

"paige, what are you doing?" sadie lazily spoke out, the girl was still tired but was slightly more awake then before.

"taking you to your room, you'll never sleep out there." paige stated as she smiled at the girl. sadie relaxed once she felt herself being placed on her bed, before paige was able to pull away the girl grabbed her hand, making her pause.

without a word, paige slide underneath the covers next to sadie. the blonde wrapped her arms around the girl, letting sadie fall asleep.

paige laid with sadie until she was sure the girl was asleep. paige slightly jumped as she walked into the kitchen, due to azzi.

"you like her a lot, don't you?" azzi asked coming up behind the blonde. azzi had a slight smile on her face. paige turned to look at azzi and then back to sadies room, she let a smile form on her face.

"i do. i really do." paige replied back with a smile. sadie had been the first girl paige liked so easily. paige had been the first girl, or even the first person, sadie had let in so easily.

anyone around them could tell you that they were made for each other. they had to be made for each other. the fit so well together, paige was the last piece of the puzzle sadie needed to be happy.

BAD IDEA.
