chapter thirteen.

the sound of shoes squeaking against the floor made sadie scrunch up her face. the girl sat on the bleachers as she watched her girlfriend finish practice.

the season was starting up soon with their first game only being a couple weeks away. paige was working like there was no tomorrow. the blonde was putting everything she had onto the court.

sadie watched with proud eyes, not just at her girlfriend, but at everyone. this season was different for all of them and sadie could see how much work they put in.

although their trip was over and it meant time for all the school work, practices, and other things to pile up, sadie was glad to be home. truthfully she was only ready to be home because she missed her apartment.

sadie wasn't used to being out all the time. she wasn't use to missing her bed or apartment. if she wasn't working or doing school, she was home. her body was trained to be at home, but lately she had been getting out of her comfort zone and she loved it.

the sound of someone yelling made the girl snap out of her trance. sadie looked up and saw the blonde staring at her with a wide smile and aubrey in front of her. paige sat down on the bleachers, pulling sadie into her.

"no you're sweaty. gross." sadie said slightly moving away from the girl. she felt the glare from the blonde but chose to ignore it for now and focus on the girl in front of her.

"okay so i know it's our first day back but like what if we hit up teds tonight?" aubrey asked with a slight grin on her face.

"you have fun with that. i miss my bed and i want to rot in it." sadie said giving the girl a small smile. she truly would go out but she was tired. the jet lag was starting to kick in. sadie leaned back into the bleachers more, allowing herself to lean on the blonde a little.

"are you going out with them tonight?" sadie asked her girlfriend curiously. paige placed her hand on the girls knee, rubbing small circles on it.

"no, id rather be with you." the blonde replied with a pure smile. sadie smiled as she looked at the blonde. there was a type of feeling between the two that sadie recognized but would never say out loud. it was the type of feeling she use to run away from. it was the feeling of why she never let herself be in a relationship. it was the feeling of love. the feeling that scared her too death.

sadie let out a sigh as she looked at her suitcases still unpacked. the only thing she hated about a trip, was coming home from the trip. yes she loved being back in her comfort place but she absolutely hated unpacking.

the girl let out a groan once she let herself hit the warm, soft bed beneath her. paige trailed behind the girl, flopping down on the bed as well. the blonde let her hands rest on the girls back, rubbing it up and down.

if it wasn't for the suitcases still on the girls mind, sadie would have fallen asleep. sadie turned over to face the feeling as paige kept her eyes on the girl. sadie stood up from the bed and made her way over to the suitcases, slowly pulling things out.

paige just watched the girl with amusement in her eyes. watching as the girl would groan at basically anything she pulled out, meaning that there was still more to be pulled out. the blonde sat with a glint in her eye that sadie had been missing all this time.

as time went on, sadies suitcase was now empty and the girl sat leaned up against her bed. the blonde let the girl sit between her legs as she played with the tanned girls hair. sadie let her head fall back between the girls legs.

a headache was forming into the girls head, causing her to groan. paige looked down at the girl with a slight pout on her lips.

"what's wrong?" paige asked letting her fingers fall onto the girls neck.

"headache. and im tired." sadie replied as she slowly got up. the girl plopped down on the bed, letting her head fall onto the pillow. the blonde looked over at the girl with a slight smile on her lips.

"i feel like someone hit me with a truck." sadie said as she turned over letting her eyes find the blue ones she cared for so deeply. paige scooted next to the girl. the blonde wrapped her arms around the girl, letting sadie sink into the touch.

the sound of loud yelling woke sadie up. her headache from earlier only seemed to get worse. sadie groaned as she stood up slowly from the bed. she recognized the feeling, she was getting sick.

"morning sunshine." kk said as she noticed sadie walk into the kitchen. the girl furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at the tanned girl.

"are you okay? you look pale." kk asked coming over to the girl and touching her forehead. sadie shook her head not even bothering to answer.

"geez you're warm. go lay down. paige will be back soon." kk said turning sadie towards her room. every movement the girl made, the more her body hurt.

sadies head hit the pillow and she let out a groan. the girl held her forehead just hoping the blonde would return home soon. the tanned girl kept tossing and turning due to not being able to sleep.

BAD IDEA.
