Ch.15

Rosé POV

The week went by quickly, I managed to survive the first month of work, I think I'm getting better, Jennie has been complaining less. Today I agreed to go out with Jisoo, to a nightclub or something, she said it would be good for me to have fun and she wanted to dance.

I take a long shower, dry my hair, put on a dress and heels, I don't particularly like wearing strong makeup so I do something light. I hear the doorbell ring after a while and I soon go to the door and come face to face with Jisoo who hugs me.

— I agree — I say and we start walking — Where are we going?

— A bar, it's not far, I want to dance, pick up someone — He says and I laugh

— I've never even French kissed — I say and she looks at me in surprise.

— And the girl from school?

— It was just a peck, it was supposed to be a real kiss, but they interrupted it — I say

— What bad luck, friend. But you can change that today and kiss someone — He says.

- Perhaps

— Maybe nothing, my friend, it's for fun, besides, you survived the first month at the company — He says and I smile

— That's true, I'm happy, but I don't think I need to kiss someone else to celebrate — I say smiling

— You're so square — He says jokingly and it takes us a few more minutes to get there — Disguise yourself and look who's staring at us from the bar — Jisoo says as we walk through the door and I look to see Lisa and Jennie staring at us

— Work is chasing us — I say

— I don't know, it looks like Lisa is sending Jennie to come after you — Jisoo says and I look once more, disguising myself, and I see Lisa nod as if telling Jennie to come here.

— Anyway, she doesn't see me that way — I say

— Yeah, two shots of whiskey, please — he asks and he quickly hands them to us — Drink it all in one go — he says and drinks it all in one gulp and I imitate him

— It burns — I say and she laughs

— This is the best part my friend — She says and orders another drink that I didn't hear the name of, I was watching people dance — Drink it — She says and I turn around once more feeling a little dizzy — Let's dance

Jisoo pulled me and before I knew it I was dancing with random people. I had never been to a party before and it was way more fun than I had imagined. I danced with a bunch of people, but after an hour I got tired and went back to the bar, sat down there and ordered a water.

— Hi Rosé— I hear Lisa's voice, half drunk.

— Hi Lisa and Jennie — I say and they smile

— And Jisoo?— Lisa asks

— I think I saw her going into the bathroom with some girl — I say and Lisa agrees.

— I'm going to dance a little — He says and leaves, leaving me alone with Jennie.

— Have you ever had anything alcoholic?— He asks and I say yes.

— Whiskey and something else Jisoo asked for — I say

— How do you feel?— He asks, laughing.

— A little dizzy, but fine — I say and see her looking at my body

— You look very beautiful — He says

— Likewise — I answer and she smiles and I hear a slow song start, most people take the opportunity to rest a little but others continue dancing and Lisa is one of them, she was dancing with a girl

— May I have this dance? — Jennie asks, extending her hand and I smile.

— It would be an honor — I say and take his hand as he pulls me to the dance floor.

When we got there, his hands went to my waist, holding it tightly, and I put my arms around his neck. We stared at each other the whole time, but we didn't say anything. Any word could ruin the moment. After the song ended, we went back to the bar and sat there drinking for long minutes while we watched the people dancing and I saw Jisoo finally appear, but now with the girl.

— Hi Jennie — Jisoo says

— Hi — Jennie answers.

— Friend — Jisoo says looking at me and I laugh already understanding

— You can go easy, Soo. I know the way home, have fun — I say and she hugs me.

— I love you — He says and leaves with the girl, and I get nervous alone with Jennie
