Jennie POV

I wake up early and in a good mood, maybe because of Rosé. I look at my hand and it's already much better, punching the mirror was a stupid thing to do but I never think too much before acting.

I do the usual routine with Lisa and then I get ready in half an hour I get in my car and go to the company.

— Good morning Roseanne — I say

— Good morning, Miss Kim. Any hotel preferences in London?

— Hyde Park is wonderful, I always stay there — I say and she says — Bring me a coffee

I enter my room and start to look at my view, I can see a good part of the city and I love it, it's one of the only things that calms me down.

— Excuse me — Rose says and comes to me handing me the coffee — Anything else?

— No, you can leave — I say, drinking my coffee and what a delicious coffee.

The morning was quiet, but in a few days I would be in London with Rosé, it will be a 3-day trip. On the day we arrive there are no commitments, but on the other two, yes. It is an annual commitment, which I cannot avoid, unfortunately. The event is the most annoying, there are several CEOs of important companies around the world.

Most of them are men and that's the problem, they keep trying to belittle me all the time, because I'm a woman in power.

— Come in — I say when I hear knocking on the door.

— I just made the hotel reservations and bought the plane tickets, we'll pick you up on Wednesday night and arrive on Thursday morning. Any problems so far?

— Not yet — I tease

— We're having dinner on Friday night and an event on Saturday night, right?

- Yes

— The chances of me messing up are very high — He says

— True — I answer and she looks at me in disbelief.

— You're a terrible boss — She says.

— I've heard that more times than you can imagine — I say

My only desire was to laugh at what was happening, it's really hard to be the annoying boss with Rose in front of me. I get up and go to her.

— You won't ruin it, I was joking — I say, caressing her face

— We are working — Speak

— It's lunch time in exactly 20 seconds — I say looking at my watch — You'll do fine and I'll be with you the whole time, you have nothing to worry about

She sighs and walks over to the couch and sits down, and I do the same.

— What should I bring?

— Coats, comfortable clothes and three outfits for our appointments should be enough, other than that normal things — I say

— Three elegant outfits? I thought it would be two appointments — He looks at me and I smile

— I'll take you out to dinner

— I don't remember asking me out — He says smiling

— We're going to be in another country, one you don't know, and in a hotel. It's not like you're going to find anything better to do — I say

— You manage to ruin the whole mood — He says

— And you should have lunch before the end of the shift, after all your boss hates being late — I say

— I already ate — He says — You're thinking about ignoring the fact that we're at work and kissing me, aren't you?

— Yes, I'm the boss, no one is going to fire me for this and I'm not going to fire you...

— Nothing like that, Miss Kim — He says and I sigh

— Okay then — I say and she smiles.

— You should go have lunch too — He says and I deny

— I'm not hungry, but I'll take a coffee — I say

— In a month of working here you have never asked me for water, only coffee and you barely eat. Is your body okay? — he asks and I laugh. I have never really eaten well.

— I don't eat much — I say

— I'll bring you something to eat, you can't go without eating anything — He says as he leaves and I smile
