Jennie POV

Finally the day of the trip, obviously I'm not excited about work but rather about spending more time with Rosé, our relationship is still the same, nothing serious, just a few kisses outside of work and nothing more, we brought her home almost every day this week, we always spend a few minutes in the car before I leave. I park in front of her house and get out of the car immediately ringing the doorbell and in less than a minute she answers.

— Hi — She says smiling, I pull her by the waist and join our lips in a calm kiss.

— Hi — I say when we separate — Are you ready?

— Yes — he says and enters the room, grabbing his suitcase and turning off the lights.

I grab her suitcase and take it to the car while she closes the doors to the house and soon we were on our way to the airport.

— I spoke to my mother today — She says suddenly and I look at her quickly

— About?

— She came home this afternoon, said it was my last chance to come back and that if I didn't come back I wasn't welcome home anymore.

— And how are you? — I ask

— I don't know — He says — I wanted to have a good relationship with my parents — I place my hand on his thigh and caress the spot

— It's going to be okay, don't worry — I say

— I would regret it if I had gone with them, I would really miss Jisoo and her affection — He says and I frown — I would also miss my favorite jealous girl — he finishes laughing

— I'm not jealous — I retort.

— uh-huh — he mocks and I park at the airport — What are you going to do with the car?

— They'll come and get it later — I say

In a few minutes we were already on the plane, Rosé was at the window and looked at her for a long time, I wondered what she was thinking but I didn't have the courage to ask her.

— You're going to meet my father — I say and she looks at me in surprise — He's going to be at the event on Saturday, my mother told him about you

— Are your parents still together?

— Why the surprise?— I ask.

— He wasn't at his brother's engagement

— He's been traveling most of the time this year, to invest in new things — I say and she agrees.

— I hope I don't mess up at the event or he'll have a bad impression of me — He says and I laugh

— Don't worry so much, he knows you're new to the job, don't expect much

— Was that supposed to be some kind of compliment? Saying that your father doesn't expect much from me? — He asks and I laugh.

— He doesn't expect you to know much about companies and stuff, that's what I meant — I say and steal a kiss from her, making her smile embarrassed.

— Does he know about us?

— No, I didn't tell him or my mother, the way she is she would already be planning our wedding — I say and she laughs

— She must be happy organizing her brother's wedding

— Not really, she never really liked Chloe and after she cheated on me even less, but she puts up with it. Chloe wants everything her way even though she asked Mom to take care of everything — I say

— Well, one day you'll get married and she'll have less stress taking care of your wedding.

— I hope so — I say laughing and Rose lays her head on my shoulder

— Do you think my parents will accept me one day?

— I don't think you have to worry about that now, Rosie. Get some sleep, we'll be in London in a few hours
