Rosé POV

I take a deep breath and look up to see the brunette girl walking confidently and with perfect posture. I get up from my chair and she looks me up and down with an arrogant pose that is almost irritating.

I'm really nervous, but I need this job, just remember what Jisoo said and try to last until Friday, today will probably be the hardest day, but it won't be a stuck-up boss who will stop me

- Good morning, Miss Kim - I say and bow

- Good morning, Roseanne - She said, standing in front of me. She seemed to analyze my every move, but I remained firm. - You have a lot of nerve coming to work in a company like that without having any experience. - This woman is as beautiful as she is irritating. She'll be lucky if my hand doesn't fly in her face by Friday.

- I wouldn't call it courage, but rather necessity, something you've probably never experienced - I answer, leaving her surprised, did she really think I would let her belittle me?

- I don't think you'll last even two days - He says.

- I shouldn't have said that, miss, I become more effective in what I'm doing when people doubt my ability - I say and she lets out a mocking laugh

- Bring me a coffee - He says and goes to the living room

When she leaves my field of vision, I finally allow myself to take a deep breath and go to a room on that floor, it was a rest room and had a coffee maker, Jisoo had shown me and taught me how to make coffee.

I do it the way Jisoo said she liked it and take a deep breath before knocking on the door.

- Come in, Roseanne - I hear her voice and go in. Her desk was full of papers and documents. For an organized person, she seemed in a pretty bad situation without a secretary. I put the cup in the only place where there was no paper so as not to run the risk of getting it dirty. She tastes the coffee and seems to approve but doesn't say anything.

- Those documents are already all signed, you have to - She was going to speak but I interrupted her

- I have to take it to the file room in the hallway to the left and file it by subject and alphabetical order, right? - I ask, smiling a little smugly.

- Since you know why didn't you do it right away? - He asks, but my smile doesn't leave my face. I just grab the pile of documents and leave.

It only took me 10 minutes to finish everything and I went back to her desk. I picked up the calendar I had there and saw that she had a lunch with some shareholders on Thursday. The phone was ringing non-stop and I absolutely hate phone calls, but I politely answered each one.

At lunchtime I ate a sandwich that I had brought from home, to my surprise, Miss Kim didn't even leave the room to eat, nor did she order anything, but as soon as the "break" at work was over she ordered a coffee, it must have been the third cup of the day.

Jennie is bossy, arrogant and like Jisoo said she likes things her way. She told me to write 20 emails and make 20 copies of something from the company in 10 minutes, what does she think I am? When I got there there was a line of almost 7 people, I was writing the emails and scheduling a meeting while I waited in line.

All the emails had to be written individually, each one with differences, ridiculous differences, she only did that so I wouldn't be able to, I'm sure. When it was finally my turn in the line, there were 3 minutes left and I hadn't even finished the blessed emails that she herself was going to review.

When I arrive on our floor again I see that I was five minutes late, I take a deep breath and knock on her office door, she doesn't answer, but I go in anyway.

— You're six minutes late — He says

— Sorry, there was a line to use the printers — I say

— I don't like being late, Roseanne — Say, I hate being called Roseanne, it brings back horrible memories of my parents yelling at me mostly

— It won't happen again — I say and put the papers on his desk.

— I hope so, send me the emails to be reviewed and you can leave — You speak and I will obey

Jennie asked me for another coffee that afternoon and complained that I had put too much sugar in it, I just took a deep breath and poured her another coffee.

When the afternoon finally came, I grabbed my things and almost ran out, and went upstairs, I didn't want to wait for Jennie and risk arguing and losing my job on the first day.

I was totally stressed, but an arrogant and grampey boss isn't going to make me quit, I need this job.
