Jennie POV

We got out of the car together, when I parked at the company, I intertwined our fingers without caring about the comments they would make, I didn't need to answer to anyone anyway. As soon as the elevator opens on our floor I see my mother.

— Good morning — He says smiling — So it's official?

— If you're asking if we're dating, the answer is no — I say and Rosé laughs.

- Why not?

— Did you come all the way across town just to ask that?

— You say it like it's not enough Jennie Kim, I'm finally going to have a decent daughter-in-law — He says and I laugh

— We're not even dating and you're my favorite daughter-in-law — I say it just so Rosé can hear and she laughs

— You're going to the wedding, aren't you?

— If I say no, you'll force me anyway — I say

— Don't be like that —Rosé says and I laugh

— Take good care of her, Jennie — He says.

— Okay mom — I say laughing

— Do you know if Lisa is bringing anyone? I need to finalize the number of guests

— I doubt it very much, but you should ask her.

— Okay, I'm going downstairs to wait for her to arrive, see you later girls.

— See you — Rosé says and my mother quickly enters the elevator.

— We survived — I say and approach to kiss her, but Rosé moves away — We still have 10 minutes until work starts — I say and kiss her

— Okay, now only when the day is over — He says and I make a face

— And what about lunch time?

— I'm going to have lunch with Jisoo, Miss Kim — He says and I sigh

— Okay, Roseanne — I say and give her a quick kiss — My coffee — I say going to the living room

The morning went by peacefully. Rosé brought me a bottle of water and told me to drink it. Around nine o'clock she brought me a snack too, but I could only eat half of it, after all I had already had breakfast. I think she's serious about making me eat properly.

— Hi — Lisa says, opening the door and entering my office — You could at least let me know that you were going to sleep at Rosé's house, I went to your house so we could walk and there was no word from you — She says and I laugh

- Sorry

— You know... You know that I've been interested in Jisoo for a while and I was thinking about asking her to go to the wedding with me — He says.

— Lisa, you haven't been in a relationship with someone for years, you might end up hurting her and on top of that Jisoo is Rosé's friend and you are my friend

— It's good that you think about other people's happiness and not just your own — She says sullenly and I sigh.

— That's not the issue, Lisa, your last relationship caused you such a big trauma that you haven't had anything serious for about four years.

— And I'm finally willing to try — She says

— You might hurt Jisoo while trying

— You're not even worried about her, but about what you're starting to have with Rosé, that's your problem, you always think about yourself and even though I've been your friend for years, you're still completely selfish — She says, getting up and heading towards the door.

— Lisa — I call her

— Screw you — He says in his crying voice and leaves slamming the door, I take a deep breath and drink some more water.

— What happened? Lisa left here crying — Rosé asks and I explain everything to her — You were an idiot, but what happened to her ex anyway?

— She committed suicide, Sophia had a lot of family problems and depression, she left a letter for Lisa saying it wasn't her fault but that didn't help, Lisa created a huge block and didn't get involved with anyone else — I say

— Jennie, you have to think more about other people's feelings, Lisa is like a sister to you and you didn't even think about how this could hurt her? What we have has nothing to do with what they might have, the world doesn't revolve around you, believe it or not — She says angrily and I sigh.

—Rosie..

— Not now, now I'm going to look for Lisa to see if she's okay — He says, turning his back and leaving the room.
