By late morning, the villa was filled with the soft, muted sounds of packing. Jungkook and Taehyung had managed to get everything sorted and into their suitcases, though Taehyung’s progress was slow and steady. Jungkook moved around efficiently, taking care of the final touches while keeping an eye on Taehyung.

Despite Taehyung’s protests about his soreness, Jungkook had insisted on handling the heavy lifting. Taehyung had reluctantly agreed, focusing instead on making sure their belongings were in order.

“Almost done,” Jungkook called out, glancing over his shoulder at Taehyung, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, meticulously folding a shirt.

Taehyung looked up, a faint smile on his face. “I feel like I’m being completely useless today,” he said with a laugh. “But thanks for doing most of the work.”

Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head as he zipped up the last suitcase. “You’re not useless. You’re just recovering from an intense night,” he teased gently, his eyes warm. “And besides, it’s my pleasure to help.”

Taehyung looked at him with gratitude, his eyes soft. “I’m really lucky to have you,” he admitted, his voice sincere.

Jungkook’s expression softened further, and he walked over to sit beside Taehyung. He took Taehyung’s hand in his own, giving it a gentle squeeze. “I feel the same way,” he said quietly. “You’ve made this trip unforgettable.”

Taehyung blushed slightly, but his smile grew. “I’ve enjoyed it too,” he said. “Even with all the soreness.”

Jungkook grinned and leaned in closer, brushing his lips against Taehyung’s cheek. “We’ve still got a little time before we need to leave,” he said softly. “How about we take a moment to just relax before heading back?”

Taehyung nodded, his eyes brightening at the idea. “That sounds perfect.”

They decided to take a few minutes to sit on the villa’s balcony, where the ocean view stretched out before them. The sea was calm, its surface sparkling under the midday sun, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore was soothing.

Jungkook poured them both a glass of water from the pitcher they had left on the table, and they settled into the comfortable outdoor furniture, basking in the warmth of the sun and the tranquility of their surroundings.

“So,” Jungkook said after a few moments of comfortable silence, “what’s the first thing you want to do when we get back home?”

Taehyung pondered for a moment, then grinned. “I think I’ll just enjoy a nice, relaxing bath,” he said. “And maybe catch up on some sleep.”

Jungkook laughed. “Sounds like a plan. I’ll join you for the bath, if you don’t mind.”

Taehyung’s cheeks flushed slightly, and he shot Jungkook a playful look. “You and your ideas,” he said, though his tone was light and affectionate.

Jungkook shrugged, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Can’t help it. I enjoy spending time with you.”

As they continued to talk and laugh, the last bit of their honeymoon slipped away. The villa, once their private paradise, was now just a collection of memories and experiences that would carry them into the next chapter of their lives.

When it was finally time to leave, they made their way downstairs, where their packed suitcases waited by the front door. Jungkook took one last look around the villa, taking in the beauty of the place that had been their sanctuary for the past week.

Taehyung stood beside him, his hand resting lightly in Jungkook’s. “We should probably head to the airport,” Taehyung said softly, his tone tinged with reluctance.

Jungkook nodded, wrapping an arm around Taehyung’s shoulders. “Yeah, let’s go.”

They made their way to the car, their suitcases in tow, and loaded them into the trunk. As they drove away from the villa, Taehyung glanced back through the rearview mirror, a wistful look on his face.

Jungkook squeezed Taehyung’s shoulder gently. “We’ll come back someday,” he said, his voice reassuring. “I promise.”

Taehyung looked at him, his eyes filled with warmth. “I’d like that,” he said softly.

The drive to the airport was quiet but filled with a sense of contentment. Despite the end of their honeymoon, Jungkook and Taehyung both felt a newfound closeness and understanding between them. They had navigated the challenges of their arranged marriage, found comfort in each other, and made memories that would last a lifetime.

As they arrived at the airport and prepared to board their flight back home, they took one last moment to savor the tranquility they had experienced. And as they walked through the terminal, side by side, they knew that no matter what awaited them, they would face it together—stronger and more connected than ever before.
