The following weeks are full of new experiences as Jungkook and Taehyung adjusted to life with Jungkyung. Though they had their share of sleepless nights and fussy moments, both men were thriving in their roles as parents. Each day, they learned more about their son's quirks, preferences, and the little things that made him laugh.

One early morning, Jungkook woke to find Taehyung already awake, holding Jungkyung in the nursery, softly humming a lullaby. The sun was barely rising, casting a soft golden glow into the room. Taehyung, with his messy hair and tired eyes, looked utterly serene as he cradled their son.

Jungkook leaned against the doorframe, taking in the scene. He couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with love for both of them. Taehyung had taken to fatherhood so naturally, his patience and tenderness a constant source of awe for Jungkook.

"You're up early," Jungkook said quietly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful moment.

Taehyung turned his head slightly, offering Jungkook a sleepy smile. "He couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd try to calm him down."

Jungkook walked over, wrapping his arms around Taehyung from behind, resting his chin on his shoulder as they both looked down at Jungkyung, who had finally dozed off.

"He's so calm with you," Jungkook murmured, pressing a soft kiss to Taehyung's cheek. "You have this magic touch."

Taehyung chuckled softly. "He's just a peaceful baby. Or maybe he knows how much we love him."

Jungkook sighed contentedly. "I think he knows. He's lucky to have you, Tae."

Taehyung leaned back into Jungkook's embrace, closing his eyes for a moment. "And I'm lucky to have you. We're doing this together."

They stood there for a while longer, basking in the quiet, intimate moment before carefully placing Jungkyung back in his crib. Once the baby was settled, they tiptoed out of the nursery and into the living room.

---

Later that day, Jungkook had to head into the office to oversee a few business matters, leaving Taehyung alone with Jungkyung for the afternoon. It wasn't often that they had to be apart, especially since the adoption, but Taehyung felt confident handling things on his own.

As he played with Jungkyung in the living room, Taehyung's phone buzzed on the coffee table. He reached for it, glancing at the screen to see a message from Jungkook.

Jungkook: How are my two favorite people doing?

Taehyung smiled, quickly typing a response.

Taehyung: Missing you, but we're good! Jungkyung is happy and full of energy. How's work?

Jungkook: Boring without you. I'll be home soon. Don't have too much fun without me. ;)

Taehyung chuckled at Jungkook's playful tone, setting the phone down as Jungkyung cooed in his lap.

"You're going to have so much fun when Daddy gets home," Taehyung whispered to Jungkyung, who giggled in response, his tiny hands reaching up to grab Taehyung's finger.

The thought of Jungkook returning soon filled Taehyung with warmth. Their life together—though busy—felt perfect. Every moment spent with their son and each other solidified their bond even more.

---

By the time Jungkook returned, the house was alive with the smell of dinner, and Jungkyung was babbling in his high chair, waving his arms excitedly as Taehyung prepares a meal in the kitchen.

Jungkook grinned as he walked in, his eyes immediately landing on Taehyung. "You've been busy."

Taehyung looked over his shoulder, smiling brightly. "Just wanted to make something nice for us."

Jungkook walked over, placing a gentle kiss on the back of Taehyung's neck before moving to scoop up Jungkyungfrom his high chair. "And how's my little guy?" Jungkook cooed, lifting Jungkyung in the air as the baby squealed in delight.

Taehyung watched them with a fond smile, his heart swelling at the sight of Jungkook playing with their son. It was moments like these that made everything worth it—the late nights, the adjustments, the sacrifices. They had created a beautiful life together, and it was only the beginning.

As they sat down for dinner, the atmosphere was light and filled with laughter. They talked about the business, their plans for the coming weeks, and their dreams for the future. There was something grounding about sharing these everyday moments together, knowing that their family was growing stronger with each passing day.

---

Later that night, after Jungkyung had been put to bed and the house was quiet again, Jungkook and Taehyung found themselves on the couch, curled up in each other's arms.

"I've been thinking," Jungkook said softly, his voice warm and relaxed. "About the future."

Taehyung turned his head slightly, curious. "What about it?"

"I want to make sure Jungkyung has everything he needs," Jungkook continued, his gaze thoughtful. "Not just the business, but a life full of love and support. I want him to know that no matter what happens, he'll always have us."

Taehyung smiled, placing a hand on Jungkook's chest. "He will. We're already doing that."

"I know," Jungkook said, running his fingers through Taehyung's hair. "But I want us to keep building on it. To make sure we're always there for him, just like we've been there for each other."

Taehyung's heart fluttered at Jungkook's words. "We will, Kook. We've built a life together, and we'll make sure Jungkyung is surrounded by all the love he could ever need."

Jungkook leaned down, pressing a tender kiss to Taehyung's lips. "I love you, Tae. And I love the life we've made."

"I love you too," Taehyung whispered against his lips. "More than anything."

And as they sat there, wrapped up in each other's arms, Taehyung knew that no matter what the future held, they would face it together—stronger than ever, with their love for each other and their family guiding the way.
