Jungkook and Taehyung had spent the first few weeks with their son with pure joy, adjusting to the new rhythms of parenthood. The mansion, once echoing with silence in its large halls, now felt full of life. Their son, who they had named Jungkyung, was the center of their world. Every little smile, coo, and cry melted their hearts. But now, it was time to introduce Jungkyung to their families.
Taehyung had been nervous about this moment. Though both their mothers had been excited when they told them about the adoption, there was always that lingering fear about whether they would be seen as enough for Jungkyung. Would their parents truly accept this unconventional path for their grandchildren? Would they feel the same sense of joy and love?
Jungkook, on the other hand, was calm. "Our families are going to love him," he reassured Taehyung as they prepared for the family gathering. "They've been waiting for this moment just like we have."
"I know," Taehyung said, nervously adjusting Jungkyung's tiny clothes. "But you know how our moms can be. They'll have so many opinions on how we're doing things."
Jungkook chuckled. "I'm pretty sure they're just going to spoil him rotten."
Taehyung smiled at that, his nerves easing. "You're probably right."
---
The day of the family gathering arrived, and both of their mothers were the first to arrive at the mansion, their excitement palpable. Taehyung's mother, Mrs. Kim, had brought homemade food and an assortment of baby toys, while Jungkook's mother, Mrs. Jeon, arrived with a camera and endless baby clothes.
"Oh my goodness!" Mrs. Kim gasped as soon as she saw Jungkyung, who was resting peacefully in Taehyung's arms. "He's even more beautiful than I imagined!"
Mrs. Jeon rushed over, beaming as she gently touched Jungkyung's tiny hand. "Look at him! He's perfect."
Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged relieved smiles as their mothers cooed over Jungkyung, completely smitten.
Jungkyung blinked up at the two women, curious but content, his dark eyes wide as they showered him with affection. Taehyung's heart calmed at the sight. It felt good—seeing their families fall in love with the child they had dreamed of for so long.
"He's such a calm baby," Mrs. Kim noted as she cradled Jungkyung in her arms. "You boys are doing a wonderful job."
"Have you been sleeping at all?" Mrs. Jeon teased, glancing at Jungkook.
"We've had our moments," Jungkook admitted with a laugh. "But it's all worth it."
Mrs. Kim looked at Taehyung with a proud, motherly gaze. "You've always been so good with children. I knew you'd be a wonderful father."
Taehyung blushed slightly, overwhelmed by the praise. "Thank you, Mom."
As they sat around the table, sharing a meal that was full of love and warmth, it felt as though the world had finally clicked into place. Their son was not only accepted but adored by their families.

Later in the day, Taehyung's father and Jungkook's father joined the gathering. The two men were more reserved, but their pride and joy were unmistakable. Mr. Kim, Taehyung's father, was the first to hold Jungkyung, carefully taking the small bundle from Mrs. Kim.
"Hey there, little one," Mr. Kim said softly, looking down at Jungkyung with a smile that Taehyung rarely saw on his father's face. "You're going to grow up in a house full of love."
Taehyung's chest tightened with emotion, watching his father bond with his son. Mr. Kim wasn't always the most outwardly affectionate, but this moment was one Taehyung would cherish forever.
Mr. Jeon, Jungkook's father, was next to hold Jungkyung. He looked at the baby with pride, then glanced at Jungkook with a small smile. "You've made us proud, son."
Jungkook, who usually didn't show much emotion in front of his father, was visibly touched by the words. "Thanks, Dad."
The rest of the afternoon was filled with laughter, conversation, and endless doting over Jungkyung. Taehyung's nerves had all but disappeared as he saw how naturally their families embraced their new roles as grandparents. Even though this wasn't a traditional family setup, their love and acceptance were all that mattered.

As the evening wound down and the family began to leave, Mrs. Kim pulled Taehyung aside.
"I can't tell you how happy I am for you, Tae," she said, her eyes misty with emotion. "You and Jungkook... you've built something so special. I always knew you'd be an amazing father."
Taehyung smiled softly, hugging his mother tightly. "Thank you, Mom. That means everything to me."
Meanwhile, Mrs. Jeon was speaking quietly to Jungkook, her hand resting on his arm. "You've done so well, Jungkook. This is the life you've always deserved—love, family, and happiness."
Jungkook nodded, his heart full. "It feels right. I've never been happier."
---
As the last of their family members left, the mansion became quiet once more, but it was a comfortable silence. Taehyung and Jungkook stood in the living room, holding their son between them as they reflected on the day.
"That went better than I expected," Taehyung said with a laugh, his eyes still twinkling with happiness.
Jungkook smiled, pressing a kiss to Taehyung's temple. "I told you they'd love him."
Taehyung looked down at Jungkyung, who had fallen asleep in his arms, his tiny chest rising and falling softly. "He's going to be so loved, Jungkook. I can feel it."
Jungkook's eyes softened as he wrapped his arms around Taehyung and Jungkyung, pulling them both close. "We're a family now. A real one."
And as they stood there together, in the quiet of their home, Taehyung knew that everything was just as it should be. They have their son, they have their families' love, and most importantly, they have each other.
