(With Naruto)

"Finally home." He said, flopping onto his bed.

'It has been a long day.' Kurama said.

Who knew the sand village could party like that. He sighed.

'I sure didn't.' His ears hurt from the constant loud noise.

Naruto's ears also hurt. He removed the henge and rubbed them. He then snuggled into his bed and soon was asleep. He hadn't been able to sleep thanks to the party. Kurama stretched before he too fell asleep.

It was a couple hours later when he was awoken to someone knocking on his door. He almost went to answer the door when he caught his reflection. He stopped and put his henge back up. He then answered the door and was surprised by the group of villagers. They looked guilty and not angry. It made him wonder what he wanted.

"Yes?"

"We have come here to apologize to you." One said.

"W-what?" He was shocked.

"We treated you horribly and it was wrong." He said.

"You were a baby the night the kyuubi attacked. You weren't involved but we needed someone to blame and you were an easy target." Another spoke.

"Yeah. You never asked to be a container to a demon." A third said.

"Wow." He blinked.

"We can't even begin to make up for what we did." The first said.

"Not that we ever can." A fourth muttered.

"True." A fifth agreed.

"I appreciate the apology. May I ask what brought this on?" He asked.

"You defended the children against that giant spider. You jumped in without any hesitation. It made us realize a monster wouldn't do that." The second villager said.

"It made us reflect and see how wrong we were." A sixth said.

"We are sorry." They all said.

"I really appreciate the apology. I just want you all to know what you did to me was horrible. I was sold expired, rotten food that was overpriced and sold me overpriced hideous jumpers." He said.

"We know." A few whispered.

"Just promise me you will never do that to another person again. I don't care if they are demons or not. Unless they actually harmed you, you have no reason to hate them." He said.

They all looked at him and nodded. "We promise."

"Good. Now if you will excuse me I am still tired from my travels." He said.

They said their goodbyes and left. Naruto shut the door and sat down. He was still shocked by the apologies he had received. Kurama was as well. Both were silent for a bit. Kurama was the first to speak.

'Wow. That was unexpected.' He said.

Yes it was. I gave up on ever hearing them apologize. The hybrid said.

'So did I.' He said.

It was nice to hear.

'I bet it was. They looked really guilty about their actions.' He said.
