It was finally time.

After an agonizing week filled with brainstorming and getting over your problems, the day for the Provisional Hero License exam was just a day away. Like Aizawa had instructed you, you were only planning on taking part in the first test, but that didn't mean that you weren't nervous.

Seated in the common room on the night before the big day, you were basking in the silence. The rest of your class was either in their rooms or touching up on some last minute training.

Even though no one brought it up outright, everyone was aware that the rest of the class was also anxious about tomorrow. Everyone was on the edge, and nervous.

This anxiety was almost similar to what you felt back when you first applied at UA. The fear of not being able to make it was one that you had already experienced, but that didn't mean that you were coping well with it.

Even if you had started a new ideology of not letting those self-deprecating thoughts get to you, you were still struggling with the several what ifs that could happen. In short, you were just preparing yourself for the worst case scenario.

You were quiet as you sat on the sofa, all on your own with nothing but a glass of some [Favorite Drink] in your hands. While the drink had long gone cold/warm, that was the least of your concerns as of right now. In fact, you were so absorbed in your thoughts that you even failed to see Midoriya approaching you with a worried look on his face.

Lately, he felt as if you both had gotten somewhat distant with each other, and seeing you all quiet and wrapped up in your thoughts, dealing with your worries all on your own made the greenette's mind go a mile a minute.

"[Last Name]-san?" He mindlessly called, his mouth moving before his brain could register what he had already done. You turned to his figure just looming near you, with that small frown still plastered over your lips and tilted your head, silently asking him to continue.

"Um..." He started, now somewhat unsure of himself. But he decided to man up and ask anyways.

"Are you okay...? You look really worried."

Not to say that he wasn't. The Provisional Hero License exam had everyone on edge.

But you looked an almost unhealthy amount of anxious.

Pursing your lips in thought before shrugging your shoulders, you spoke. "Uh, yeah, I guess...? I'm just worried about tomorrow..." Your answer was honest, making the greenette boy's face brighten up over the fact that you trusted him enough to admit your fears.

Then again, you both knew each other before UA and had went through a bunch of traumatizing stuff together (most of it just being linked with Shigaraki's existence) so it shouldn't have been that much of a surprise that you trusted him.

But still, he appreciated it.

"I get what you mean," he carefully began, taking a seat next to you and giving you a small, gentle smile. "Everyone feels worried about tomorrow. I mean, following the entrance exams, this is one of the most important exams of our lives." From the way he spoke, you could tell that he was also relating to you in terms of the anxiety you guys felt.

"Tell me about it..." You huffed in amusement, making the boy share a smile with you. For a while, you both just quietly sat in the shared silence, not a word spoken amongst you two.

"But..." Then all of a sudden, Midoriya started, looking at you with an unreadable emotion on his face. His forest green eyes shined so brightly that you felt as if they were illuminating the entire room with their light.
