I hadn't paid attention to a single word in any of my classes because my mind kept going back to Joey and his gorgeous green eyes.

I should've been thinking about graphing quadratic equations but instead I was thinking about what Joey would be like to kiss.

I was pathetic.
Like some love struck middle schooler.

When the bell rang signalling lunch I headed towards the lunch hall and prayed I'd find someone to sit with.

I entered the room and locked eyes with Aoife Molloy.

"Gabby!" She squealed, waving her hand in the air, "Come sit with us!"

I smiled, thankful she saved me from sitting alone like a complete loser.

I knew Aoife through Katie, who was one of my best friends at Tommen.

"Hi," I smiled shyly as I approached the table of people.

My eyes landed on Casey, who I also knew through Katie, a brunette boy, a redhead boy and Joey.

Just my luck.

"Hey, gorg," Casey grinned at me.

"Hi," I smiled.

"This is Gabby," Aoife introduced me to the table, "And boys, don't even think about it! This girl is completely off limits."

I felt Joeys eyes on my face and I blushed.

"Aoif!" I groaned.

"What!? You don't want these ones," She shrugged, scooting over on the bench so I could sit next to her, "They might be pretty, but they are all tools."

I slid into the seat next to Aoife, feeling rather uncomfortable.

I wasn't big on social situations, so being the new girl was practically my worst nightmare.

"I beg to differ," The redhead scoffed before extending his hand to me, "I'm Podge."

"Gabby," I smiled, shaking his hand.

"I'm Alec," The brunette shot me a nod.

"Hi," I gave a small wave.

"Joe, are you not going to introduce yourself?" Aoife glared at him.

"We've already met," He shrugged.

"You have?" Aoife's eyes widened.

"Yeah," I agreed, "We happened to be outside at the same time."

"Tell me he didn't try anything," She groaned.

"He didn't!" My cheeks flamed.

"Why are you being so protective over the girl?" Joey asked, his eyes locked on mine.

"Because, she is a good friend of mine. And I won't be having any of you corrupt her," Aoife narrowed her eyes at the boys.
