"I know you're trying to keep things professional," he said, his voice steady but filled with emotion. "But I can't stop thinking about you. And I don't know why you keep pushing me away."
Siniz stood there, torn between the overwhelming feelings swirling inside her and the voice of reason screaming in her head. She had worked so hard to stay distant, but now that he was standing in front of her, confessing his feelings, she didn't know what to do.
"I... I can't," she whispered, stepping back. "This can't happen."
Jungkook's eyes softened. "Why not?"
"Because you're you. And I'm just... I'm just your manager."
Jungkook's expression softened. "You're not just anyone, Siniz. You're you. And that's why I'm interested. Not because of who I am, but because of who you are."
