Double update!!!!Siniz's POV:
I always thought relationships were complicated. Messy. Not something I could afford to get involved in, especially not with someone like Jungkook. He was too much—too famous, too admired, too everything. And yet, despite every wall I put up, he was still there. He didn't push too hard, but he didn't walk away either. He just stayed, and slowly, I found myself wanting to stay with him too. We'd started as tentative friends, and for a while, I convinced myself that was enough. But as the days passed, as our late-night conversations grew longer and the moments between us became more meaningful, I couldn't deny it anymore. I liked him. Maybe more than I was willing to admit out loud
Author's Pov
Siniz sat quietly in her apartment, her mind a whirlwind of emotions. Ever since Jungkook had confessed his feelings, she had been avoiding the thought, trying to bury it beneath her busy schedule and responsibilities. But every time she saw him, every time their eyes met, she felt the undeniable pull between them.
She couldn't pretend anymore. It was becoming exhausting, and more importantly, unfair to both of them. Jungkook had been brave enough to open his heart to her, and she had kept silent, locking hers away. But not tonight.
Taking a deep breath, Siniz grabbed her coat and headed out the door. She knew Jungkook would be at the studio late tonight, working on some new music. He always was when he needed to clear his head, and she couldn't wait any longer.
As she made her way to the building, her heart raced. The night air was cool, and the streets were quieter than usual, almost as if the world was holding its breath for what was about to unfold.
When she arrived at the studio, her hands were trembling slightly. She didn't knock, not wanting to disturb him if he was recording. Instead, she slowly opened the door and peered inside.
Jungkook was sitting in front of the computer, headphones on, completely lost in his work. His hair was tousled, and he looked tired, but there was something about him that made Siniz's heart skip a beat. She stood there for a moment, just watching him, wondering how she had been able to keep her feelings bottled up for so long.
Finally, she stepped inside, quietly closing the door behind her. At the sound of the door, Jungkook turned around, his eyes lighting up when he saw her. He pulled off his headphones and stood up, surprised but happy to see her.
"Siniz?" His voice was soft, almost hesitant. "What are you doing here?"
Siniz took a deep breath, trying to calm the fluttering in her chest. "I... I needed to talk to you."
Jungkook's expression shifted, becoming more serious. He had been waiting for this, hoping she would come to him, but he hadn't wanted to push her. "Is everything okay?"
Jungkook took a step closer to her, his heart pounding in his chest. " What Happened?"
Siniz hesitated, her mind racing as she tried to find the right words. She had never been good at this – opening up, letting herself be vulnerable. But she owed it to him. And to herself.
"I've been keeping my distance from you," she started, her voice barely above a whisper. "Not because I don't care, but because I care too much. I've spent so much time building walls around myself, trying to keep everything professional. I didn't want to get hur...."
Jungkook cut her off, "Siniz, you don't have to be afraid." Jungkook's eyes softened, and he stepped even closer, closing the distance between them.
Jungkook reached out and gently took her hand, his thumb brushing against her skin. "You don't have to deal with it alone."
After a pause, "I know you've been scared," he said softly, "And I get it. This isn't easy. But I want to try. I want us to try."
Siniz's breath caught in her throat as she felt the warmth of his touch. It was comforting, reassuring, and for the first time in a long time, she allowed herself to relax.
"I've tried to ignore it," she admitted, her voice shaking. "I've tried to convince myself that I don't feel the same way. But I can't lie to myself anymore."
Siniz swallowed hard, feeling the weight of her words. "I love you, Jungkook. I've loved you for a long time, but I was too scared to admit it. To myself, and to you."
Jungkook's smile widened, and before she could say another word, he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. The kiss was soft, tender, and full of the unspoken emotions they had both been holding back for so long.
Siniz felt herself melt into the kiss, all of her fears and doubts slipping away. This was where she belonged – in his arms, with him. And for the first time in a long time, she wasn't afraid of the future.
When they finally pulled away, Jungkook rested his forehead against hers, his voice soft and full of love. "I love you, too."
Siniz smiled, her heart full and at peace. "I know."
They stayed like that for a while, just holding each other, the weight of everything unspoken between them hanging in the air. But for the first time, it didn't feel overwhelming. It felt like a beginning. Like they were finally taking that leap together, despite all the fears and uncertainties that had held them back.
And that was the biggest step they had taken in a long time.
