A few weeks had passed since the moment Jungkook and Siniz started their relationship and despite her better judgment, Siniz found herself giving in. What began as secret glances and stolen moments turned into something deeper.Jungkook was persistent, sweet, and genuinely interested in her. And Siniz? She couldn't help but fall for him more.
They kept their relationship a secret, sneaking around BigHit like teenagers trying not to get caught. The only person who knew the truth was Shanaya, who had become their reluctant cover.
One late night, Siniz and Jungkook found themselves alone in one of the smaller dance practice rooms, hidden away from prying eyes.
"I still can't believe we're doing this," Siniz muttered as she sat down, Jungkook settling beside her.
Jungkook grinned, resting his head on her shoulder. "You mean sneaking around like spies? It's kind of exciting."
Siniz laughed softly, shaking her head. "We're going to get caught one day, you know."
"Not if we're careful," Jungkook said, lifting his head and looking into her eyes. "Besides, I'm good at keeping secrets."
"You? The same Jungkook who can't lie to save his life?"
Jungkook pouted dramatically. "Hey, I'm good at lying when it's important."
"Sure you are," Siniz teased, leaning closer. "Just don't give us away with that guilty look you always have."
He gave her a playful shove, but before they could get too close, the door creaked open. In walked Jin, holding a tray of snacks.
"Hey, what are you guys—" Jin stopped in his tracks, blinking at them in confusion. "Wait, why are you two just sitting here in the dark?"
Jungkook sat up quickly, his face flushed. "Oh, uh... we were just—um, practicing! Yeah, practicing some moves."
Siniz nodded vigorously, trying to hide her laughter. "Yeah! We... we just needed some quiet."
Jin gave them a suspicious look but shrugged it off. "Well, I brought snacks. Make sure you get some before you leave."
As soon as Jin left the room, they burst into laughter, knowing just how close they had come to being discovered.
The days that followed were a whirlwind of secret dates, hushed conversations, and a constant fear of getting caught. Managing a relationship with a global superstar while keeping it hidden from the world was no easy task, especially when said superstar had six overly curious bandmates who were always lurking around.
Take V, for example. He had an uncanny ability to show up at the worst possible moments. One day, Siniz had arrived early to Jungkook's apartment, planning to surprise him with dinner after a long day of rehearsals. They had barely sat down to eat when the doorbell rang.
Jungkook groaned, getting up to answer the door. "If that's Taehyung again, I swear..."
Sure enough, V stood on the other side of the door, holding a box of takeout.
"Hey, I brought food! Oh, you're already eating?" V said, looking between Jungkook and Siniz with raised eyebrows.
Siniz quickly stood up, grabbing her bag. "I was just leaving! Needed to drop off some work documents. You know... busy manager stuff."
V looked unconvinced but didn't say anything as Siniz rushed out the door. Once she was safely out of sight, she texted Jungkook.
Siniz: "You need a better excuse next time. That was way too close."
Jungkook: "I panicked! He just showed up out of nowhere."
Siniz: "We're terrible at this."
It wasn't just V who was causing problems, though. The other members were just as meddlesome, especially when Jimin got suspicious. Jimin had always been particularly close to Jungkook, and he seemed to sense that something was off.
One afternoon, as they were preparing for a fan meet, Jimin sidled up to Siniz, a sly grin on his face.
"Siniz, you've been looking awfully happy these days," Jimin said, his voice filled with fake innocence.
Siniz raised an eyebrow, trying to keep her cool. "What are you talking about?"
"I don't know, there's just this... glow about you," Jimin teased, leaning in closer. "Anything you want to tell me?"
Siniz's heart skipped a beat. She knew Jimin loved to poke fun, but the way he was staring at her now made her nervous. She quickly shrugged it off, laughing nervously. "I think you're imagining things, Jimin."
He didn't look convinced, but before he could press further, RM walked in with the schedule for the event. Jimin shot Siniz one last playful look before turning his attention back to work.
That night, Siniz couldn't stop thinking about how dangerously close they were to getting caught. When she told Jungkook about it, he laughed.
"Jimin's always nosy," Jungkook said as they sat on the rooftop of BigHit's building, enjoying a rare moment of peace. "He thinks everyone's hiding something."
"But we are hiding something," Siniz pointed out, resting her head on his shoulder. "And we're terrible at it."
Jungkook chuckled, wrapping an arm around her. "Yeah, but that's what makes it fun."
Siniz groaned. "Fun? You call almost getting caught fun?"
He nodded, pressing a quick kiss to her forehead. "Definitely."
