A Night in a Club

Siniz sat at her desk, fingers tapping the keyboard in rhythm to the low hum of office chatter around her. Her phone buzzed for the third time that afternoon. Another message from Shanaya.

**Shanaya**: "Come on, just say yes! It'll be fun!"

Siniz sighed and leaned back in her chair, glancing at the group chat with her friends and colleagues: Shanaya, Bora, Mia, Joon, and Minho.

**Mia**: "It's Friday! You can't say no to fun, Siniz! You need a break."

Siniz wasn't a fan of clubs, or drinking for that matter. She preferred quiet nights with a book or a movie. The idea of loud music, a crowd of strangers, and flashing lights made her uncomfortable. But her friends were relentless.

She glanced at her screen again.

**Shanaya**: "Pretty please? You never go out with us!"

Siniz sighed, typing her reluctant reply.

**Siniz**: "Fine. But I'm not staying late, and I'm definitely not drinking."

**Bora **: "Yessss!! See you at 9."

That night, Siniz found herself standing next to Shanaya  awkwardly outside the club, shifting from one foot to the other as she waited for the others. She wore a simple black dress, nothing too fancy but just enough to blend in with the crowd.

Shanaya, dressed in a shimmering outfit, practically bounced up to her, linking arms with Siniz. "This is going to be fun. Trust me."

"I'm only here because you dragged me," Siniz mumbled, giving Shanaya a side-eye.

Mia and Bora soon joined them, both excited, with Joon and Minho not far behind. After some light teasing from Joon and Minho about how "even Siniz is out tonight," the group made their way inside.

The club was everything Siniz expected: dim lighting, thumping bass, and a crowd of people moving to the rhythm of the music. Her friends seemed to thrive in the atmosphere, quickly heading for the dance floor while Siniz slipped to a quieter corner.

She ordered a juice from the bar, happy to just observe. This was Shanaya's night, after all. She could have fun while Siniz waited it out.

Meanwhile, across the club, Jungkook, Cha Eunwoo, and Mingyu were having a night out of their own. After long schedules and constant attention, a quiet night at the club—where they could blend into the crowd—was a welcome escape. The three of them sat in a VIP booth, keeping a low profile but enjoying the atmosphere.

Jungkook sipped his drink and glanced across the club. His eyes landed on a familiar face sitting alone at the bar. It was Siniz. He hadn't expected to see her here. She wasn't the type who seemed to enjoy these kinds of places.

He watched her silently as her colleagues danced, oblivious to her being alone. Jungkook leaned back, intrigued. He hadn't interacted much with Siniz, but her presence always intrigued him. She was quiet, professional, and always seemed to be in control of her environment. But here, she looked out of place, like she was waiting for the night to be over.

"What are you staring at?" Mingyu nudged Jungkook, following his gaze. "Oh, is that Siniz from BigHit?"

"Yeah," Jungkook replied absentmindedly.

Eunwoo chuckled. "You should go say hi. She looks bored."

Jungkook shrugged but kept his eyes on her. "Maybe."

As the night went on, Siniz was content sitting alone, sipping her juice and watching the chaos unfold around her. But then, a guy—clearly drunk—approached her with a sloppy grin.
