Siniz was determined not to act on her feelings.....She was a normal girl in a foreign country, navigating her career with purpose. Falling for one of the most famous idols in the world was not part of her plan.
But what Siniz didn't realize was that her very avoidance was catching Jungkook's attention. At first, it had been a mild curiosity. She was different, not just because she wasn't Korean, but because she didn't treat him like a superstar. Siniz was composed, focused, and never seemed phased by his presence. That intrigued him.
Every other person he met had a predictable reaction. Either they fawned over him, or they tried to impress him. But Siniz? She kept her distance, both emotionally and physically. And it was driving Jungkook crazy.
Days had passed, and Siniz was sure she could feel Jungkook watching her more often than usual. Maybe it was paranoia, but she sensed his gaze on her whenever they were in the same room. She brushed it off as her overthinking, refusing to entertain the possibility that he could be interested in someone like her.
After all, Jungkook was constantly surrounded by beautiful, talented women—idols, actresses, models. What could he possibly see in a manager who barely spoke to him unless it was work-related?
Yet, during the next group meeting, she found herself becoming hyper-aware of his presence. The meeting ended, and as the members dispersed, Siniz tried to slip away unnoticed. But as she reached for the door, she felt a light tap on her shoulder. Her heart skipped a beat, knowing exactly who it was.
"Miss.Siniz," Jungkook's voice was soft but firm. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"
She turned to face him, keeping her expression neutral. "Is something wrong?"
"No, I just... I wanted to ask you something." He looked almost nervous, which was unusual for him.
"Go ahead," she said, her voice more composed than she felt.
Jungkook hesitated, as if weighing his words carefully. "I've noticed that... you don't talk to me much. Not like you talk to the others."
Siniz blinked, caught off guard by his directness. "I—well, I try to stay professional with everyone," she said quickly. "It's part of my job."
"Is it really just that?" Jungkook asked, his gaze piercing. Then he continued, "Why do I feel that something is off... specially with me ?"
Siniz felt her pulse quicken. Was he onto her? Could he see through the walls she had built around herself? Before she could answer, one of the staff members called out for Jungkook, breaking the tension.
"I'll see you later," he said with a slight smile, walking away before she could respond.
Siniz stood there, frozen. Something was shifting between them, and she wasn't sure how much longer she could keep ignoring it.
"How long could I ignore you" She thought herself.....
