The atmosphere in the BigHit office was buzzing with excitement. Today, a well-known international magazine was coming to interview BTS, and it was a big deal for everyone. The boys had just wrapped up rehearsals and were preparing for the shoot. I was going through some last-minute preparations when Mia nudged me.

"Did you hear who's doing the interview?" she asked, her voice laced with curiosity.

I glanced up from my notes, raising an eyebrow. "No, who?"

Shanaya smirked. "Rohit Suresh"

The name sent a jolt through me

The name sent a jolt through me. Rohit? It had been years since I last saw him. We had gone to the same college back in India, and although we hadn't kept in close touch, there had always been an easy camaraderie between us. He was one of those people who made you feel comfortable no matter how long it had been since you last saw them.

"Oh wow," I said, still processing. "That's... unexpected."

"Unexpected, but exciting, right?" Bora chimed in, joining our conversation. "It's always nice seeing familiar faces from home."

I nodded, though my mind was already racing. Rohit, here at BigHit, interviewing BTS. What were the odds?

The rest of the morning flew by in a blur of activity. The interview team arrived in the early afternoon, and sure enough, there was Rohit, looking sharp in a dark suit and holding a camera bag. He spotted me immediately, his face lighting up in recognition.

"Siniz!" he called out, making his way over. "I can't believe it's you!"

I smiled warmly, genuinely happy to see him. "Rohit! What are you doing here?"

He laughed, pulling me into a quick hug. "I'm here for the interview, obviously. But man, it's been forever!"

"It really has," I agreed, pulling back to get a better look at him. "You look great. It's been, what, five years?"

"Something like that," he said, still smiling. "I never expected to run into you here of all places. This is crazy."

We caught up for a few minutes, talking about our college days, old friends, and how both of our lives had taken unexpected turns. It felt good to reconnect, but as we talked, I couldn't help but feel someone's gaze on me. I glanced over my shoulder and saw Jungkook standing a few feet away, watching us intently.

There was something in his expression that I couldn't quite place. His jaw was tight, his brows slightly furrowed, and his eyes were locked on Rohit. He looked... bothered.

The Interview Begins

As the interview preparations got underway, I helped Rohit's team set up the cameras and audio equipment. Jungkook, along with the rest of BTS, was seated in front of the set, but I noticed his attention kept drifting back to me and Rohit. It was subtle, but his body language was different—tense.

Rohit, completely oblivious, continued chatting with me as we worked. "So, how do you like it here? Working with BTS must be incredible."

"It's amazing," I admitted, smiling. "The boys are all great to work with. It's a busy job, but it never feels like work, you know?"

"Yeah, I can imagine," Rohit said, glancing over at the boys. "They're lucky to have you."

Just as Rohit said that, I saw Jungkook's eyes narrow slightly. He was leaning back in his chair, arms crossed over his chest, his gaze still fixed on us. Something about his posture told me he wasn't just curious anymore—he was irritated.

Once everything was ready, the interview started, and Rohit began asking the boys questions about their upcoming tour, their inspirations, and how they handled life in the spotlight. He was professional and engaging, but every now and then, he would glance over at me, shooting a small smile in my direction.

The boys answered every question with their usual charm and warmth, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off with Jungkook. While the others laughed and joked easily, he remained more reserved, his responses short and to the point. His eyes kept darting to me and Rohit whenever there was a break in the conversation.

After the interview wrapped up, the crew started packing their equipment, and I found myself alone with Jungkook for the first time that day. He was sitting on the edge of the stage, scrolling through his phone, but when he saw me approaching, he put it away.

"Hey," I said, leaning against the wall beside him. "You okay? You seemed kind of... quiet during the interview."

Jungkook glanced up at me, his expression unreadable. "Yeah, I'm fine."

I raised an eyebrow, not buying it. "Are you sure? Because you didn't look fine."

He let out a sigh, running a hand through his hair. "It's nothing, really. Just... who was that guy?"

"Rohit?" I asked, confused. "He's an old friend from college. We studied together back in India."

Jungkook nodded slowly, his eyes narrowing slightly. "You seemed pretty close."

I blinked, taken aback by his tone. "We're just friends, Jungkook. We haven't seen each other in years."

"Yeah, but the way he was talking to you... I don't know. It seemed like he was flirting."

I stared at him, surprised by the sudden shift in his mood. "Flirting? Jungkook, he's not flirting. He's just being friendly. We go way back."

Jungkook stood up, clearly frustrated. "I don't know, Siniz. The way he was looking at you, the way you were smiling at him... it just didn't sit right with me."

I crossed my arms, feeling defensive. "Jungkook, you're overreacting. Rohit is just a friend. You don't need to be jealous."

He frowned, his eyes locking with mine. "I'm not jealous."

I couldn't help but smirk a little. "Really? Because you're acting like you are."

Jungkook let out a low groan, rubbing the back of his neck. "Okay, maybe I am a little jealous. But can you blame me? This guy shows up out of nowhere, acting all buddy-buddy with you, and I just... I didn't like it."

My heart softened at his words. Jungkook, the global superstar, was jealous over someone like Rohit. It was kind of sweet, in a way.

"Jungkook," I said softly. "You don't have anything to worry about. Rohit is just an old friend. That's all."

He looked at me, his expression softening and he let out a quiet chuckle. "I guess I was being a bit ridiculous, huh?"

"Just a little," I teased, grinning up at him.

He smiled back, the jealousy fading from his eyes. "Thanks for putting up with me."

"Anytime," I said, feeling a warmth spread through me.

He nodded, his eyes softening as he reached out to gently brush a strand of hair behind my ear.

For a moment, we just stood there, the tension from earlier melting away. And as we both smiled, I couldn't help but think how much we had grown—together.
