The Bonds We Build

Working at BigHit had always been a dream for people like Mia, Bora, Shanaya and me. And while the days were often long and tiring, it never felt like a burden. The real reason was simple—BTS. They weren't just superstars, they were humble, kind, and always treated everyone on the staff with a level of respect that made it feel like we were all part of one big family.

Today was no different. The boys were in the middle of prepping for their upcoming concert, rehearsing late into the evening. The atmosphere in the practice room was charged with excitement, but not the kind of stress you might expect from a high-pressure environment. BTS had a way of making everyone feel at ease.

As Mia and Bora busied themselves with sorting out costumes for the boys, I and Shanaya were running through some last-minute details with the production team. Jungkook, who was practicing some choreography on the other side of the room, caught my eye and shot me a quick smile, sweat beading on his forehead. I smiled back, feeling that familiar flutter in my chest that I was still getting used to.

"Hey, Siniz," Bora called, her hands full of fabric. "Can you help me with this? I think Tae's jacket needs some adjustments."

"Coming!" I replied, making my way over.

Just as I reached her, Taehyung himself wandered over, a curious look on his face. "Is that my jacket?" he asked, glancing at the item in Bora's hands.

Bora nodded, holding it up to him. "Yep, but I think the sleeves might be a bit too long. Let me know what you think."

Taehyung chuckled, taking the jacket from her and trying it on. "You're right, it's a bit oversized. But I like it—kind of gives me that artsy vibe."

Shanaya, who was standing nearby, grinned. "Everything gives you an artsy vibe, Tae."

Taehyung gave a mock bow, playing along. "Thank you, thank you. I do try."

Everyone in the room laughed. That was the thing with BTS—they never made things feel like work. Despite their busy schedules, they always found a way to keep things light, making sure everyone was comfortable.

A few moments later, Jin walked over, holding a box of snacks. "I'm on a mission to keep everyone well-fed," he announced, handing out energy bars to all of us. "You can't work properly on an empty stomach."

I took one gratefully. "Thanks, Jin. You always think of everyone."

He gave me a playful wink. "It's my duty as Worldwide Handsome to take care of the staff too, you know."

"Of course, of course," Mia teased. "Where would we be without your handsomeness to guide us?"

Jin chuckled, clearly pleased with the attention, and moved on to offer snacks to the rest of the team.

Nearby, Namjoon and Yoongi were talking quietly with the sound engineers, discussing some technical details. They had a way of being serious when needed, but even then, they never raised their voices or got frustrated when things didn't go according to plan. It was something we all appreciated—working with artists who valued your input and treated you as equals.

As I helped Bora finish up the jacket adjustments, Jimin came over, wiping sweat from his face. "Are you guys sure we're not making this too hard on you? I feel like you're always running around doing ten things at once."

Bora smiled, waving him off. "We're fine, Jimin. Honestly, we're just doing our part."

Mia chimed in, nodding. "You guys are the ones putting in all the hard work. We're just here to make sure everything runs smoothly."

Jimin looked genuinely grateful. "Well, we appreciate you guys more than you know."

His sincerity caught me off guard, but that was just how BTS was. No matter how tired or busy they were, they always made time to acknowledge the work everyone else put in. It was one of the reasons why Mia, Bora, Shanaya and I had grown so close to the boys—not just as coworkers, but as people.

Later, during a short break, the staff gathered together while the boys rested on the couches scattered around the room. Jungkook was sprawled out next to Namjoon, while Jin and Jimin were chatting away with one of the makeup artists. Taehyung, of course, was lounging with his jacket now perfectly adjusted, looking pleased with himself.

I stood with Shanaya ,Mia and Bora, watching them all interact, and couldn't help but smile. Mia nudged me, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Can you believe this is our job? Being around them all day? It still feels surreal."

"I know, right?" Bora agreed. "It's crazy how down-to-earth they are. I mean, they're global superstars, but they treat everyone like family." Shanaya added.

"That's why it works," I said quietly, thinking about how true that was. "They never let any of it go to their heads."

Just then, J-hope sat up and stretched, glancing over at us. "Hey, are you guys all set for tomorrow? Do you need anything from us?"

Mia grinned. "Nah, we've got everything under control. You just need to focus on killing it during rehearsals."

He chuckled, nodding. "Alright. But seriously, don't hesitate to let us know if you need anything. We've got your backs."

I caught Jungkook's gaze for a moment longer than I intended, feeling my heart race again. He always had a way of doing that—making me feel seen in a way that made everything else fade away. Though i have decided to take our friendship deliberately but it's him who always makes me feel like that.

As the night wore on and rehearsals resumed, the bond between BTS and their staff became even more evident. Whether it was small gestures like Jin handing out snacks, or Jimin checking in on how we were doing, or Taehyung cracking jokes to keep the mood light, it was clear that they valued every person in the room.

And for Mia, Bora, Shanaya and me, it wasn't just a job—it was something more. It was being part of something bigger, something that felt like home.

That night, as I headed home with Shanaya , Mia and Bora, we couldn't stop talking about the day—about how even after years of working with BTS, it still felt special.

And in that moment, I realized that it wasn't just about the work, or the fame, or the music. It was about the connections we built along the way, the friendships that formed through long hours and shared experiences.

And most of all, it was about the feeling of being seen, valued, and appreciated—by the boys and by each other.
