After the Concert,

The night had been long and tiring, but it was finally over. After a successful concert, Siniz and her colleagues—Shanaya, Mia, and Bora—decided to unwind at their favorite Korean restaurant. The cozy place was a haven for them after hectic events, and tonight, they needed it more than ever.

They ordered their usual dishes, chatting about the concert while waiting for the food.

"Did you see the crowd? I've never seen ARMY so wild!" Mia exclaimed, still buzzing with energy.

"Yeah, the lightsticks were like stars. It was beautiful," Bora added, smiling as she took a sip of her drink.

Shanaya, always curious, leaned forward. "So, Siniz, you were quiet today. Is everything okay? You barely talked during the concert."

Siniz snapped out of her thoughts, realizing she had been lost in them for quite some time. She had been thinking about her encounter with Jungkook earlier that day ( After the meeting) and in the concert. Well, if she could even call it an encounter. He had tried to talk to her, but she had dodged him at every turn. She couldn't stop replaying the moment when he asked,
"Are you ignoring me?"

She didn't answer then. Perhaps she didn't know how to answer that.

"I'm fine, just tired," Siniz replied, forcing a smile.

Mia raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure? Because you've been in another world since we sat down."

Siniz chuckled softly, trying to brush it off. "It's nothing. Just thinking about all the work we still have to do tomorrow."

But her mind was far from work. She couldn't shake the look on Jungkook's face when he had asked her that question. The way his eyes seemed to search hers, almost pleading for an answer, lingered in her mind. She could sense that he was hurt by her distance, but she couldn't help it. She wasn't ready to confront her feelings yet, and keeping her distance seemed like the only solution.

Shanaya, always the observant one, smirked. "Is it work you're thinking about, or something—or someone—else?"

Siniz shot her a look, feeling a blush creep up her cheeks. "Definitely work."

"Uh-huh," Bora teased, exchanging a knowing glance with Shanaya.

They didn't push her further, but Siniz knew they suspected something. The truth was, her thoughts were filled with Jungkook. His persistence, the way he never seemed to give up trying to talk to her, even when she made it difficult. She admired his patience, but it also made her heart race in ways she didn't want to.

Their food arrived, pulling the group back into lighter conversation. They laughed and ate, but Siniz remained distracted, her thoughts constantly drifting back to Jungkook's voice echoing in her head.

"Are you ignoring me?"

She didn't have an answer then, but she was starting to realize that maybe, just maybe, she was afraid of the answer.
