Siniz was focused, organizing the files as she had to handover it within some days to Jungkook. It wasn't something she looked forward to, but work was work. She had to deliver the contract for the magazine photoshoot Jungkook was scheduled to sign. The magazine was pushing for a quick turnaround, so she had no choice but to handle it personally.

As she entered the lift in the BigHit building, she unexpectedly found herself standing beside Jungkook. The moment was tense, not in an awkward way, but because Jungkook had been trying to talk to her for days. He had tried to break through the boundaries she put up between them, but she always found a way to slip out of the situation.

Jungkook glanced over at her, his heart beating just a little faster. "Hey,Miss. Siniz."

Siniz nodded politely, keeping her distance emotionally as much as she could. "Jungkook-ssi"

There was silence for a few seconds before Jungkook spoke again. "How was you day?"

Siniz blinked, trying to be cold. "I've just been busy."

Her eyes on the lift door, While Jungkook was staring at her side profile.

Jungkook didn't push it further, sensing the resistance. But there was something in the air, a crack in the walls she had built, and he was determined to find a way to break through.

A few days later, Siniz found herself standing in front of Jungkook's apartment. She had the files in her hand and was ready to get it over with as quickly as possible. Knocking lightly on the door, she heard faint movement inside. Moments later, the door swung open, revealing a casually dressed Jungkook, his hair slightly tousled from what looked like a well-deserved rest.

"Miss.Siniz?" His voice carried genuine surprise. "I wasn't expecting you."

"I know, but you need to sign these for the magazine shoot," she said, trying to maintain her professional tone. "They need them by the end of the day."

Jungkook stepped aside, gesturing for her to enter. She hesitated for a brief moment, her heart fluttering slightly at the sight of him in such a casual setting. But she quickly composed herself and walked in.

The apartment was cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere, much like Jungkook himself. On the floor sat Bam, his Doberman, who immediately perked up upon seeing a new face. Siniz's eyes lit up as she spotted the dog.

"Bam, meet Siniz," Jungkook said, smiling as he watched her reaction.

Siniz knelt down, her face softening as she reached out to pet Bam. The dog wagged his tail enthusiastically, and for the first time, Jungkook saw Siniz let her guard down, if only for a moment. Her expression was filled with warmth, and she looked genuinely happy interacting with Bam.

"You like dogs?" Jungkook asked, leaning against the kitchen counter, admiring the way her face softened in Bam's presence.

"Y..yess, I love them," she said, her voice lighter than before.

As Siniz continued to pet Bam, Jungkook found himself watching her closely. There was something about seeing her in his space, with his dog, that made his heart swell a little more. She was always so composed and professional, but here, she looked different. Softer. Beautiful in a way that felt more real.

"Do you want something to drink?" Jungkook offered, walking toward the kitchen.

"No, I'm fine." Siniz stood up, pulling her focus back to the task at hand. "We should get these signed. I don't want to interrupt your day off."

Jungkook sighed playfully. "Always so formal, Siniz." He took the files from her, his fingers brushing hers briefly, sending a small jolt through both of them.

As he signed the papers, he glanced up at her a few times, noticing how she was trying to keep her emotions in check. She had always been like that, and while he admired her professionalism, he couldn't help but want to know the real Siniz beneath it all.

After he finished signing, he handed the papers back. "All done."

Siniz nodded, tucking the files into her bag. "Thanks. I'll get these to the office."

Jungkook stood in front of her, a soft smile playing on his lips. "You know, you don't have to keep your walls up all the time."

Siniz raised an eyebrow, her defenses immediately coming back up. "What do you mean?"

Jungkook shrugged, his eyes gentle but piercing. "I mean, we're not just idols and staff. You don't always have to act like you're miles away."

Siniz was silent for a moment, taken aback by his words."I'm just doing my job," she repeated softly, but even to her own ears, it didn't sound as convincing as before.

Jungkook smiled knowingly. "Maybe. But I think you're more than just your job, Siniz."

For the first time in a long while, she didn't know how to respond. Instead, she gave him a small nod and turned toward the door, her heart beating a little faster than it should.

"See you around, Jungkook-ssi ," she said, her voice quieter now.

"Yeah," he replied, watching her leave. "See you around."

As the door closed behind her, Jungkook leaned back against the counter, his mind racing. There was something about her that drew him in, something he couldn't quite shake off. And now that he had seen a glimpse of her softer side, he wasn't sure he wanted to stop trying to break through her boundaries.
