The following weeks passed in a blur of rehearsals, concerts, and meetings, but Siniz couldn't shake the feeling that things were different now. Jungkook had become bolder, more intentional in his interactions with her. He would ask her small, seemingly innocent questions, like if she had eaten or how her day was going. And every time, Siniz gave the shortest answer possible, not wanting to encourage him.Flashback
Siniz was entering the practice room to ask what would they like to have in lunch as it was there lunch break time, All the members were practicing as usual
Siniz greeted them and started to ask one by one.
When it's time to ask Jungkook, She asked coldly " And Jungkook-ssi, What should I order for you?"" Did you eat your lunch?" Jungkook asked her out of blue and leaving her shocked.
Though it was more like whispering but it couldn't unheard by her. She hesitantly answered, " I... I'll "
Flashback ended...
But despite her efforts, Jungkook didn't stop. His persistence was confusing, even frustrating. He was one of the most sought-after men in the world—why was he bothering with her?
One evening, after a long day of rehearsals, Jungkook decided to take another chance. He saw Siniz leaving the building, her headphones in as she walked toward the bus stop. Without thinking, he followed her.
"Siniz," he called out, jogging to catch up with her.
She stopped, surprised to see him. "Jungkook-ssi ? What are you doing here?"
"Nothing,I just wanted to talk to you," he said, a little out of breath but determined.
Siniz shifted uncomfortably. "Jungkook-ssi, I don't think this is a good idea..."
But Jungkook stepped closer, his eyes locking onto hers. "I think it is. Because the more you ignore me, the more I got curiosity to know about you."
Siniz's breath hitched. This was the moment she had been dreading—and secretly hoping for. She had tried so hard to keep her feelings hidden. " I'm getting late , Good bye Jungkook-ssi"Without giving a glance to him she walked away to hide her feelings.
One night, Siniz sat in her apartment, going over some paperwork. Shanaya wandered in, her hair wrapped in a towel after a shower.
"You look stressed," Shanaya said, flopping onto the couch beside her.
Siniz sighed, rubbing her temples. "Work's just been... exhausting."
Shanaya eyed her suspiciously. "Is it really work, or is it a certain K-pop star that's exhausting you?"
Siniz groaned. "Please don't start."
"I'm serious, Siniz. You need to be careful. If Jungkook's showing interest in you, it's only going to get more complicated."
"I'm not interested in him," Siniz lied, her voice sharper than intended.
Shanaya gave her a knowing look. "Sure, you're not. But does he know that?"
Siniz opened her mouth to respond, but stopped. Did Jungkook really know? She had been doing everything in her power to push him away, but the truth was, her feelings were growing. She didn't want them to, but every time he smiled at her, every time he spoke to her, she felt herself slipping further.
Shanaya sighed, "Oh, come on! I see the way you look at him. And I also see how he looks at you."
After a pause she continued, "You know, maybe it wouldn't be so bad if you—"
"No," Siniz interrupted. "I'm here to work, not to get involved with... with him."
Shanaya let out another sigh, but she knew better than to push her. Siniz was stubborn, and once she set her mind on something, there was no changing it. Still, Shanaya couldn't help but think that maybe, just maybe, there was something more between them than Siniz was willing to admit.
