Jungkook's heart was pounding, but it wasn't from nerves over a performance or a new release—this time, it was something far more personal. He glanced over at Siniz, who was standing next to him in the spacious, sunlit living room of his parents' home, her hand intertwined with his. Across from them sat his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeon, their faces a mixture of warmth and curiosity.Today was the day. The day they would finally tell their families and the company about their relationship.
"I think it's time we make this official," Jungkook said, his voice steady but filled with emotion. "Siniz and I... we've been together for a while now, and I want everyone to know."
Mrs. Jeon smiled softly, reaching out to take her son's hand. "We've always known, Jungkook. It wasn't hard to see how much you care for her."
Mr. Jeon nodded in agreement. "Your happiness has always been the most important thing to us. And from what we've seen, Siniz makes you very happy."
Siniz, feeling a bit shy but incredibly relieved, squeezed Jungkook's hand. She had always worried about how his parents would react, but their acceptance felt like a huge weight lifting off her shoulders.
"I'm so glad you both accept us," Siniz said, her voice soft but filled with sincerity. "It means the world to me."
Mrs. Jeon beamed, standing up to embrace Siniz. "You're already part of the family, dear. We've always trusted Jungkook's judgment, and seeing how happy you make him... well, that's enough for us."
Jungkook smiled, his heart swelling with love for both his parents and Siniz. But they weren't done yet. There was still one more conversation to have, and it wouldn't be as easy.
Later that evening, back at their apartment, Siniz sat on the couch, her phone in her hand, staring nervously at the contact labeled *Mom*. Jungkook sat beside her, his arm draped over her shoulder, silently supporting her.
"You've got this," Jungkook whispered, leaning in to kiss her temple. "They love you."
Siniz nodded, taking a deep breath before pressing the call button. After a few rings, Mrs. Sharma's warm voice came through the line.
"Hello, beta?"
"Hi, Mom," Siniz said, her voice slightly shaky. "Is Dad there too? I need to talk to both of you."
There was a pause on the other end before Mrs. Sharma spoke again, her tone more serious. "Yes, your father's here. Is everything alright?"
Siniz bit her lip, her heart racing. "Yeah, everything's fine. Actually, I have some news..."
A few seconds later, both her parents were on the phone, and Siniz could hear the slight tension in their voices as they waited for her to speak.
"Mom, Dad... you know how I've been working with BTS for a while now?" Siniz started, glancing at Jungkook, who gave her an encouraging nod. "Well, I've... been in a relationship with Jungkook for the past few months."
There was a stunned silence on the other end. Siniz held her breath, waiting for their reaction.
Finally, Mr. Sharma spoke, his voice filled with both surprise and concern. "Jungkook? As in the global K-pop star?"
"Yes, Dad. Him," Siniz replied, trying to keep her voice steady. "I know it's a lot to take in, but I love him. And he loves me. We've been very happy together, and his family has already accepted us."
There was another pause, this time longer. Siniz could almost hear her parents processing the information.
Mrs. Sharma was the first to respond, her voice soft but firm. "Beta, we know how much you've worked to build your career. But a relationship like this... with someone in the public eye... it won't be easy."
