Justice stood in front of the mirror in her bedroom, adjusting the straps of her dress for the millionth time. She wasn't normally the type to stress about what she wore, but tonight was different. Her date with Yoongi felt like it had more weight to it than just a casual outing. She could feel the electricity between them, and for some reason, it terrified her.
The dress she'd picked was simple but stunning—a fitted, deep green number that hugged her curves and dipped slightly in the back, just enough to be flirty but not overly revealing. The color complemented her skin tone, and the way it made her eyes stand out even caught her off guard. She let her hair fall loosely around her shoulders, giving herself one last look before turning away from the mirror.
She wasn't just nervous about how she looked. Tonight might be the night things between her and Yoongi would shift, and she wasn't sure if she was ready for that.

Yoongi waited outside the café, leaning casually against the wall with his hands tucked into the pockets of his jacket. His heart beat a little faster than usual, but you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at him. He had a knack for staying cool, no matter the situation, but tonight felt different.
When Justice finally appeared, walking toward him with a small smile on her lips, Yoongi felt his breath catch. She looked... stunning. Her dress was simple but elegant, the way it hugged her figure made his mind race, and her natural beauty struck him in a way he hadn't expected.
"Wow," Yoongi said softly, pushing off the wall to meet her. "You look... amazing."
Justice blushed slightly, her nerves melting a little at his compliment. "Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself."
They exchanged shy smiles before heading inside the café.

The first half of the date was sweet and easy. They laughed over lattes, talked about their favorite music, and shared little anecdotes about their childhoods. It felt natural, almost like they had known each other for years instead of weeks. Yoongi found himself smiling more than he had in a long time, and Justice felt her heart lighten with every joke he made.
But as the evening progressed, the conversation slowly began to shift to more personal topics.
"You know," Justice started, her voice softer now, "I don't usually open up to people so easily. But... you make it feel like it's okay."
Yoongi's expression softened. He understood that. He rarely opened up to anyone, either. "I get it. It's not always easy to let people in."
There was a pause, a moment of quiet as both of them seemed to weigh their next words. Justice could feel something bubbling up inside of her, something she had been holding onto for so long, but she wasn't sure if she was ready to let it out.
Yoongi shifted in his seat, eyes lowering to his coffee for a moment before he spoke again. "I don't really talk about my family much," he said quietly, his voice losing its usual nonchalance. "I'm an only child."
Justice nodded, sensing the gravity in his tone. "You never wanted siblings?"
Yoongi shook his head slightly, a bitter smile tugging at his lips. "I did, actually. But... my mom, she had an abortion when I was younger. I found out about it later, and... I guess I resented her for it. Still do, in a way. I always thought that if she hadn't made that choice, I wouldn't have grown up alone."
His words hit Justice like a ton of bricks. Her chest tightened, and for a moment, she couldn't breathe. The walls around her started to close in, and she felt the weight of her own secret pressing down on her. Tears pricked the corners of her eyes, and she quickly looked away, trying to keep her composure.
