Yoongi gripped the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles turned white, the muscles in his forearms tense with the effort to keep himself in check. His heart felt hollow, weighed down by the emptiness Justice had left behind after he dropped her off at the airport. The silence in the car was suffocating, only broken by the sound of the tires on the road.
He kept replaying her last words, her face pale and tear-streaked, as she told him she had to go. It wasn't just heartbreak—this was something deeper. It was rage, a searing fury directed at the one person who had shattered everything.
Lola.
Yoongi couldn't keep it bottled up anymore. He couldn't pretend everything was fine, not after watching Justice leave because of Lola's selfishness, her manipulation, and her complete disregard for anyone's pain but her own.
The headlights of the house appeared in the distance, the glow of the porch light doing little to calm the storm that had built inside him. As he parked the car and slammed the door shut, he felt his body shake with the intensity of his anger. His mind was racing, and the only thing he knew for certain was that he couldn't keep quiet any longer.
When Yoongi walked into the house, he didn't take a second to assess the room. He saw Lola sitting there, her face indifferent as if nothing had just happened. The others—Morgan, Julissa, Seokjin, and Namjoon—sat around her, the atmosphere tense and silent.
Yoongi couldn't hold it in anymore. His voice rang out, sharp and biting, cutting through the thick silence like a blade.
"Do you even care?"
Lola's gaze flicked to him, her brows furrowed in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
Yoongi's eyes darkened, his voice low but filled with venom. "Justice is gone because of you. You don't even care, do you?"
Lola rolled her eyes, crossing her arms defensively. "She left because she couldn't handle the truth. That's not my fault."
"The truth?" Yoongi's voice rose, fury dripping from each word. "The truth is, you've been lying to us this whole time! About everything!"
Lola's face twisted in confusion. "What the hell are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about how you've manipulated everyone here. How you lied about stopping the drugs, how you've been playing Hoseok like a fool. You've made everything about you, and you don't even care about the damage you've caused."
At this, Hoseok, who had been sitting quietly, stood up, his eyes wide with hurt. "Yoongi, stop."
But Yoongi was too far gone to stop now. The floodgates had opened, and there was no turning back. His gaze zeroed in on Lola, the hatred he felt for her bubbling to the surface.
"You don't deserve him, Lola," Yoongi spat, his voice filled with anger. "Hoseok trusted you. He believed you when you said you'd stopped, and all you've done is lie and manipulate everyone around you."
Lola stood up, her eyes flashing with anger. "You don't know what you're talking about, Yoongi. You're just pissed because Justice left, and now you're taking it out on me."
Yoongi laughed bitterly, shaking his head in disbelief. "This isn't about Justice. This is about you and the fact that you've done nothing but tear everyone apart since we got here. You've lied, you've manipulated, and you've pushed people to the brink. And for what? So you can feel better about yourself?"
Lola's eyes narrowed, her voice rising in anger. "Don't act like you're some saint, Yoongi. You've kept secrets too. We all have."
"That's not the point!" Yoongi shouted, his voice echoing in the room. "The point is you don't care about anyone but yourself. You're selfish, and I hate you for what you've done. I hate what you've turned this into."
Hoseok, who had been standing to the side, finally stepped in, grabbing Yoongi by the arm and pulling him back. "Yoongi, that's enough."
But Yoongi wasn't done. His voice dropped, filled with bitterness and disappointment. "You don't deserve him, Lola. And I hate that he can't see what you've done to him. To all of us."
Hoseok's face was a mix of hurt and confusion as he tightened his grip on Yoongi's arm, pulling him toward the door. "Come on, man. Let's cool down."
Yoongi jerked his arm away from Hoseok's grip, turning to face him. "Cool down? How can I cool down when she's torn us all apart? Justice is gone because of her lies!"
Hoseok's jaw clenched, but he didn't respond. He couldn't. The truth in Yoongi's words stung, but he wasn't ready to confront it. Not yet.
As Hoseok finally managed to pull Yoongi toward the back of the house, the rest of the group sat in stunned silence. The weight of Yoongi's words hung heavy in the air, leaving everyone on edge.
Morgan and Julissa exchanged a glance, the tension between them palpable. They knew the truth now, or at least part of it. Lola had lied, and her lies had caused Justice to leave. But what now?
Morgan finally broke the silence, her voice quiet but firm. "We can't just ignore this."
Julissa nodded, her face pale as she spoke. "She's been lying to us the whole time. About the drugs, about everything."
Lola, who had remained standing in the middle of the room, her arms crossed defiantly, finally spoke up. "I made mistakes, okay? But that doesn't mean you get to gang up on me."
Morgan's eyes flashed with anger as she stood, her voice rising. "You didn't just make mistakes, Lola. You lied. You hurt people. You pushed Justice out. And now we have to decide if we're going to let this continue."
Julissa nodded, her face set in determination. "We can't just sweep this under the rug."
The weight of their words seemed to settle over the room, the tension thick as they all looked to Lola for a response.
Lola shrugged, her face cold and indifferent. "Do what you want. I don't care."
Morgan stared at her, disbelief written across her face. "That's it? You don't care? After everything that's happened?"
Lola didn't respond, her expression remaining hard and unfeeling. She didn't seem to care what anyone thought of her anymore.
As the tension in the room continued to build, Seokjin, who had been watching silently, finally stood up. "We need to figure out what we're going to do."
Namjoon nodded, his face serious as he looked around at the group. "Are you staying or leaving?"
The question hung in the air, everyone weighing their options, unsure of what to do next.
But one thing was clear: the cracks in their group had grown into chasms, and there was no going back. The lies, the manipulation, the secrets—everything had come to a head. And now, they had to figure out how to move forward.
In the back of the house, Hoseok finally managed to get Yoongi to sit down, his hands still shaking from the argument.
"Why did you have to go off like that?" Hoseok asked quietly, his voice filled with concern.
Yoongi shook his head, his chest tight with emotion. "Because someone had to. She's been playing you, Hoseok. You need to wake up."
Hoseok didn't respond, his mind spinning with everything Yoongi had said. He didn't want to believe it, but deep down, he knew Yoongi was right.
"She doesn't deserve you," Yoongi repeated softly, his voice filled with a sadness Hoseok had never heard from him before.
Hoseok sighed, leaning his head back against the wall as the weight of everything pressed down on him. "I don't know what to do."
Neither of them had an answer. All they knew was that things had changed—irrevocably—and nothing would ever be the same again.
