The dim light in the living room flickered slightly as the late night settled in. The guys were sprawled across the couches, the usual banter absent. It was quiet, too quiet. The only sounds were the occasional shuffle as someone adjusted their position, lost in thought.
Seokjin sat at the edge of the couch, his hands idly fidgeting with a glass of water. His brow was furrowed, his thoughts heavy. "Did anyone else notice how weird Justice got when Lola's brother came up?" He broke the silence, his voice low, but it caught everyone's attention.
Hoseok, who had been sitting with his head back on the cushion, straightened up slightly. "Yeah," he agreed, rubbing the back of his neck. "It was like a switch flipped. She went from being totally fine to... tense. Uncomfortable."
Namjoon nodded thoughtfully, his arms crossed as he leaned against the armrest. "She looked like she wanted to be anywhere but in that conversation. It's obvious something's off there."
Seokjin sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Lola didn't seem to notice, though. She was talking about her brother like he's just a normal guy, but Justice..." He trailed off, shaking his head. "What if something happened between them? And she hasn't told anyone?"
At this, Yoongi, who had been sitting quietly at the far end of the room, stiffened. His fingers clenched the fabric of his jeans as he stared at the floor. The others didn't immediately notice, but his silence was heavy. He knew more than the others—much more—but sharing Justice's truth wasn't his place.
He knew what Lola's brother had done. Justice had confided in him during their date, the pain still raw in her voice. Yoongi's stomach twisted as the memory of that conversation came back. She had revealed the darkest part of her past, how Lola's brother had forced himself on her, leading to her pregnancy and ultimately the abortion. It was a story she hadn't told anyone else, not even Lola, and Yoongi wasn't about to betray that trust. But hearing the guys talk about it now, without the full truth, made him uneasy.
Namjoon's voice broke through Yoongi's thoughts. "We only have two weeks left with them. What's going to happen after they leave?" He looked around the room, his expression conflicted. "We're all getting close to them, but it feels like there's so much we don't know."
Hoseok nodded in agreement. "We've barely scratched the surface. And if something bad happened with Lola's brother, we should know. Justice could be in danger or worse."
Yoongi's jaw tightened. He hated the thought of keeping secrets from his friends, but he wasn't sure how much of the story Justice wanted him to share. Still, the unease in the room was palpable, and his silence felt heavy. "It's complicated," Yoongi muttered, not meeting their eyes.
Seokjin raised an eyebrow. "Complicated? What do you mean?"
Yoongi exhaled sharply, leaning back and rubbing his temples. "Just... there's more to it than what we know. But it's not my place to explain. Justice will talk about it when she's ready."
The others exchanged glances, sensing there was more to the story but respecting Yoongi's reluctance to push further. They could tell something was weighing on him, but no one pressed.
"So what do we do?" Hoseok asked, frustration creeping into his voice. "We've all started something real with these girls. But in two weeks, they're gone. We don't even know where they'll be after that."
Namjoon sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. "That's what I'm worried about. If there's something going on with them—like really going on—we're going to be left in the dark once they leave. And that's not something I'm okay with."
The tension in the room was thick, and no one had a clear answer. The girls were leaving in two weeks, and they had no idea what would happen once they were gone. Would these budding relationships fall apart? Would the secrets that had been buried finally come to light?
Across the room, the maknae line sat quietly, but there was a glint of mischief in their eyes. Jimin nudged Jungkook with a grin. "You know, this is starting to sound a lot like some drama we'd watch on TV," he said, his voice teasing.
Taehyung chuckled, crossing his arms and leaning back in his seat. "All this tension and no one's doing anything about it. It's kind of pathetic, honestly."
Namjoon shot them a look, though it wasn't exactly harsh. "What are you three scheming about this time?"
Jungkook grinned, clearly enjoying the moment. "We're just saying... You guys have been moving so slow, and now you're all worried about them leaving. Maybe some pressure will get you to actually make a move."
Seokjin rolled his eyes but couldn't help the small smile that tugged at his lips. "Always stirring the pot, huh?"
Jimin shrugged, his smirk widening. "Hey, you guys are all too cautious. If you want to keep these girls around, you've got to do something about it."
Yoongi sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's not that simple."
"Maybe not," Taehyung chimed in, "but sitting around overthinking it won't help either. We've only got two weeks left. You guys better figure it out before it's too late."
The maknaes' words, though playful, struck a chord with the older members. The girls were leaving soon, and time was running out to make their intentions clear. And with all the hidden truths lurking just beneath the surface, there was no telling what might happen next.
Yoongi stared out the window, the weight of everything hanging heavily on his shoulders. He didn't know how things would unfold, but one thing was clear—these next two weeks were going to be critical.
As the guys mulled over the possibilities, the tension between them deepened. The secrets they didn't yet know—and the ones they hadn't shared—were starting to weigh them down. And with each passing day, the stakes only got higher.
What would happen when the girls finally told them everything? Would they still be able to hold on to what they had started, or would the secrets tear them apart?
Time would tell. But for now, the clock was ticking, and the tension was only building.
The maknae line exchanged amused glances as the older members continued to debate the situation. Jimin leaned over to Jungkook and whispered, "Looks like things are about to get interesting."
Jungkook smirked, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, and we're here to watch it all unfold."
