Morgan and Namjoon sat side by side on a bench overlooking the beach. The soft glow of the moon reflected off the water, casting a serene light over the shoreline. It had been a peaceful walk, filled with casual conversation and a few moments of comfortable silence. But now, as the night grew quieter, Morgan could sense the weight of something unspoken between them. She glanced over at Namjoon, who seemed deep in thought, his brow slightly furrowed as he stared out into the distance.

He turned to her, his eyes filled with concern and something else—determination. "Morgan, there's something I want to talk about," he began, his voice soft but firm.

Morgan's heart skipped a beat. She knew this moment was coming. The dates had been going so well, but something had been lingering in the air, especially after the girls had met Blackpink at the beach. The name had been brought up several times since, and though Morgan had tried to ignore the little voice in the back of her head, the skepticism remained.

"Is this about Blackpink?" Morgan asked, trying to keep her tone light, though the tension in her chest was undeniable.

Namjoon sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah. I know it came up when you all met them, and I just... I don't want there to be any confusion or misunderstandings."

Morgan nodded, urging him to continue.

"Jin and Hoseok dated Jisoo and Lisa," he admitted, glancing over at her to gauge her reaction. "It was before we met you all, obviously. Things didn't work out, but it's not something they're really proud of, especially with how things ended. I just wanted to be upfront with you about that."

Morgan processed his words carefully, her mind swirling with mixed emotions. She appreciated Namjoon's honesty, but there was still a lingering doubt. "I appreciate you telling me, Namjoon, but I can't help but wonder... why didn't it work out? Are they still hung up on them?"

Namjoon shook his head quickly. "No, it's not like that. It's just—" He paused, unsure of how much to say. "There were a lot of complications. Our lives aren't exactly... normal. The fame, the schedules, the constant traveling—it made things hard. But I promise you, none of us are holding on to the past."

Morgan wanted to believe him. She could see the sincerity in his eyes, the way he tried to reassure her, but the skepticism was still there. However, there was something else she needed to share, something far deeper and more personal. The thought of revealing her darkest secret made her stomach twist, but if she wanted any chance at a future with Namjoon, she had to be honest.

"Namjoon," she said quietly, her voice almost trembling. "There's something I haven't told you. Something I've been terrified of sharing because... because I thought you'd be disgusted by me."

Namjoon's expression softened immediately, his concern deepening. He reached for her hand, gently holding it in his. "Morgan, nothing you say will change how I feel about you."

She swallowed hard, her chest tightening as the words she had kept buried for so long threatened to spill out. "It's about my father," she began, her voice barely above a whisper. "I told you he was abusive, but it's more than that. It's not just physical..."

Namjoon's grip on her hand tightened, but he stayed silent, waiting for her to continue.

"He's done things... horrible things to me." Tears welled in her eyes as she forced the words out. "Things no father should ever do. He forces me to please him... in ways I can't even say out loud. I've been running from him ever since I was old enough to get away, but the scars are still there, Namjoon. I didn't tell you because I thought you'd be repulsed. I thought you'd see me as... tainted."

Morgan's voice broke, and she looked down, unable to meet his eyes. She expected silence, maybe even hesitation, but what she didn't expect was the way Namjoon gently cupped her face, lifting her chin so she had no choice but to look at him.

"Morgan," he said softly, his voice thick with emotion, "I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I can't even imagine the pain you've been carrying all this time. But I need you to understand something—you are not disgusting. You're not tainted. You're one of the strongest people I've ever met, and nothing you've been through changes the way I feel about you."

Tears streamed down her cheeks as Namjoon pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly as if he never wanted to let go. For the first time in a long time, Morgan felt safe—truly safe. In Namjoon's embrace, the weight of her past didn't seem as unbearable. She had feared this moment, feared his reaction, but instead of judgment, she was met with understanding and compassion.

"I'm here for you," Namjoon whispered against her hair. "You don't have to carry this alone anymore."

Morgan sobbed quietly into his chest, her fingers gripping his shirt as if afraid he might disappear. "Thank you," she whispered back. "Thank you for not seeing me any differently."

Namjoon pulled back slightly, just enough to look into her eyes. "You're incredible, Morgan. And I'll be here for as long as you want me to be."

She smiled through her tears, leaning in to rest her forehead against his. In that moment, the beach and the world around them seemed to fade away. It was just the two of them, sharing a raw, vulnerable moment that felt like the beginning of something real.

For the first time in years, Morgan allowed herself to believe that maybe, just maybe, she could have a future without fear. A future with Namjoon.
