Thirty-six hours had ticked by, each passing moment feeling like an eternity. Aarav lay motionless, his eyes closed, his chest rising and falling with each gentle breath. His vitals were fine, everything was normal, but still, he refused to open his eyes. The doctors were worried, their faces etched with concern, their voices hushed as they discussed Aarav's condition.

Surbhi and Ruhaan had been by Aarav's side for hours, refusing to leave, but eventually, Omkara had to send them back to rest. Surbhi was feeling unwell, her face pale, her eyes sunken, and Ruhaan needed rest too. Omkara had reassured them that he would stay with Aarav, that he would take care of his brother.

As the door closed behind Surbhi and Ruhaan, Omkara felt a pang of fear. His bhai, his strong, brave brother, lay helpless, unresponsive. Omkara's eyes stung as he gazed at Aarav, his heart heavy with worry. He felt scared, unsure of what the future held.

Abhay had also left, saying he had some important work that he couldn't ignore. Omkara knew that Abhay wanted to stay, but some works couldn't be ignored. As a doctor himself he had a duty to his patients, a duty that came first. Omkara understood, but it didn't make it any easier to leave his bhai...

The hospital room was quiet, the only sound the soft beeping of the machines monitoring Aarav's vitals. Omkara sat beside Aarav's bed, his eyes fixed on his brother's face, willing him to wake up, to open his eyes, to come back to him. The silence was oppressive, the stillness of Aarav's body a stark contrast to his usual vibrant, energetic self.

Omkara's mind was a jumble of emotions, fear, worry, helplessness. He felt like he was losing his brother, like Aarav was slipping away from him. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself, to think clearly. He had to be strong, for Aarav, for Surbhi, for Ruhaan... For Abhay...his bhaiya...He had to hold on to hope, no matter how fragile it seemed...

As Omkara sat beside Aarav's bed, his mind began to wander, memories of the past few hours flooding his thoughts. His time with Abhay had been a revelation, a chance to see his bhaiya in a new light. He had learned so much about Abhay, about his kindness, his compassion, and his unwavering support... even his love for them... though he was not open and expressive but that were visible in his actions....that he have acknowledged now.....

But with those memories came the realization of his own mistakes. He had ignored Abhay for months, treating him like a ghost, a non-entity in their lives. He had said hurtful words, words that now came back to haunt him, mocking him for his foolishness.

Omkara's eyes dropped, shame and regret washing over him. He had hurt everyone with his fears, his insecurities. He didn't deserve forgiveness, but Abhay, in his infinite kindness, had offered him a second chance.

As he looked at Aarav, his bhai, Omkara's heart swelled with emotion. How could he have hated Abhay, while loving Aarav with every fiber of his being? They both were twins...It was a contrast that struck him like a slap in the face.
