The night was anything but quiet, as a large festival was celebrated down below. The lights from the lanterns shining brightly and the illuminated floats shone all throughout the city. The people below banged their drums as they paraded through the streets with their colored masks and cheering at the lights and festivities. However, there was more than just celebratory sweets and charms. Dark forces were wandering about the streets.

A masked man dressed in green carrying dual swords crossed on his back snuck through the crowds, not even being suspected because of his attire and the design of the mask. He snuck to the side of the street, meeting with one of his partners, this one being dressed in red. They ran down together through the winding alleys until they met up with another masked man dressed in blue followed with several more standing behind him, all dressed in black, white, and light blue.

They looked up at a large building and began to climb all the way to the top, using the illuminated signs as leverage and cover for their heist. They then ziplined to another roof before dropping onto the monorail and then jumping down once again to another building. They stopped for a moment when they heard the police sirens blaring down on the streets, but once they passed, the masked men continued on their way.

One of the other men handed the man in green a grappling hook, to which he shot to the top of one of the tallest towers in Ninjago City. Once secured, the group raced to the top of the towers and snuck in through the windows with a sharp blade. They trespassed carefully, making sure not to trip any security. They wandered through the multiple glass cases displaying different artifacts and treasures. But they weren't there for some valuable golden statue or important piece of parchment containing secrets from the past.

No, they stopped when they found a painting of Cyrus Borg. The man in green went over to the painting and sliced it to pieces, revealing a secret compartment behind the now destroyed painting. In the compartment was a bright red mask with glowing yellow eyes, depicting a fanged scowl painted on it. The man in white and gray tried to reach in and take it, but the man in green stopped him, spraying a powder on the mask and showing off the security lasers protecting it. The man in green took his blades and carefully beamed the lasers out of the way before taking the mask.

He showed it off to his comrades in victory, but when the man in gray pulled the blades from their place on the wall, the alarm immediately went off. The red lights blared and the steel panels fell down to cover the glass windows. The man in green quickly strapped the mask onto his back, took back his blades and ran with his comrades to escape through the previously cut. They made it through quickly enough, but they weren't alone on the roof anymore.

"Nice masks." A voice said behind them. When they turned around, they were blinded by a bright green light that knocked down the man in blue. When the light disappeared, they were faced with the Green Ninja, Lloyd Garmadon.

"You could almost pass as ninja." He said jokingly and prompted them to take him on.

The man in green jumped off the roof with the grappling hook to escape, leaving the others to take on Lloyd. They tried their best, but they were no match for Lloyd as he took them down with barely any effort and just a bit of Spinjitzu. However, the men in green and gray escaped down the grappling hook rope. Lloyd followed right after them, but when the man in green landed, he cut the line, leaving Lloyd and the man in gray to fall.

Lloyd held onto the rope and swung around to catch the falling man before letting him down onto the ground right where the police were waiting. The man in green landed on a newly constructed street and abandoned his green helmet for a motorcycle helmet before jumping onto his motorcycle and racing away.

"PIXAL, I need my car." Lloyd said.

"Your coordinates, Master Lloyd?" PIXAL asked.

"Somewhere over... You know how to find me." Lloyd said and let go of the rope, falling until he landed in his personal car equipped with all sorts of weapons and gadgets to help him battle. The car landed safely on the other side of the unfinished street with Lloyd secured inside.
