*Next Week*

Maddie looked at the clothes in her closet, most of them where comfort. They where for running throughout the woods, mingling in the crowds. Her family didn't exactly have fancy parties or get togethers, at least not like Kyle's family.

She started to pace, she was supposed to leave in about 2 hours. While that should be enough time, she didn't really have anything on hand. She had taken a shower and was just walking around in a towel and her short hair was pulled up as well.

She ran her hands over her face and let out a frustrated scream. She knew that she couldn't wear anything in her closet, she feared that she would embarass him.

"If I am gonna rule, I suppose I should invest in some nicer dresses, or at least some nicer looking clothes," She said.

"I would agree," A voice said. she jumped and grabbed her towel, only to find Dahlia standing and leaning against the door frame. Her black and purple clothes where a bit looser than what she usually would wear.

"I have nothing," Maddie said collapsing on her bed.

"What for?"

"Kyle asked me to his parents anniversary party and I agreed. It was about time I met them, we are mates after all. But I can't find anything to wear to a ball at night," She said.

"Hmm, I may have something you can borrow. I know it will match that trinkett," Dahlia said pointing to the necklace on her dresser. Dahlia grabbed Maddie's hand and dragged her to her room, then set her on the bed.

The raven shifter's room was compleatly different than others may assume. It had color while still being composed of the usual dark colors and persona that she gave.

She ran into her closet as Maddie fell back on the bed. She heard hangers adjusting and moving, at least until she heard shoes moving against the floor. Looking up, she saw Dahlia walk out with a silver dress. It definatly seems like Dahlia's style more so than Maddie's.

"Oh Dahlia, it's beautiful, but..."

"No, no buts. I'm helping you to get ready and your gonna wear this dress," Dahlia said as she grabbed Maddie and forced her in the closet.

"Can I at least get some underwear?" she asked. Dahlia smirked and ran out to get the right pair before knocking on the door and handing her some.

"The dress has some padding," she said before the door closed. Maddie put it on, hopefully correct and knocked on the closet door, she noticed Dahlia leaning against it. Probably making sure that she didn't run away or try to get out of wearing the dress.

Dahlia opened the door, only for her eyes to go wide and her mouth to drop. "Maddie..." She said in a slight whisper.

Her hands went up to cover her nose and mouth.

"You.....you...." She stopped and practically forced Maddie in front of a full body mirror that was in the corner right next to her closet. Maddie looked and her green eyes followed.

The dress itself was form fitting, but draped across the upper part of her body. She turned to the side, the dress fit her like a glove, but she didn't look like she was popping out.

"Wow," She said. She started to spin in it, the dress pulled away from her body ever so slightly, so it was a bit easier to walk in. It shined and sparkled a bit when she did so.

"Dahlia...are you sure?" she asked looking at her friend.

Dahlia nodded.

"It doesn't really fit me anymore, I truthfully forgot I had it till I saw the necklace. Now for the other stuff, and please tell me you have shoes," She said. Maddie left and when she came back, in her hands where a pair of heels that had a bit of a silver hue to them with some gems. The necklace was in her other hand.
