"She is a Dark Reign, isnt she?"

Those words kept ringing in his ears. Julie was serious and she looked him dead in the eye.

He felt a stray tear roll down his face and closed his eyes, only to nod his head.

She took a big breath in and then she dropped his head and stood up.

"I am sorry. I swear i wanted to keep you out of this, if my father knows, he will kill her out of fear and greed" Kyle said. The stray tear wouldnt be alone anymore. The water kept coming and his eyes would soon run dry if they didnt stop soon.

Julie pulled her husband to the side and started to talk to him. Kyle understood if they never wanted him to come around, they had a family, children and friends to look after. Not to mention how popular their shop was with the local people in the general area. He stood up and wiped his face and went for the door to let them be.

"Kyle dear...." Julie started before his hand ever reached the door.

"We havent exactly been honest with you either," She said. He walked over to them. Al turned for a moment and when he looked Kyle in the eyes, all he could see was vibrant green eyes.

Kyles mouth dropped.

"You are a....." he stopped in case anyone was listening.

"And the kids?"

"Jamie is the only one with a hint of Dark Reign in her blood. If you look in her eyes, you can seen a hunt of green. But thats all we know," Al said putting colored contacts in.

"How? I thought they where all in the woods?" He asked.

"Not all, dear," Julie said. She took Kyles hand and dragged him to the back room, no one there but a creepy old looking doll from one of their ancestors.

"Majority of their population is in the woods. The rest are planted throughout the town, hidden, undercover. Its how i met Al. Wait.....how do you know about the woods?" She asked.

Kyle went back to looking everywhere. He was not a good person at keeping secrets from a woman.

"I may have followed a girl there....." he said. Which wasnt entirly false, he did follow Maddie there, its just that she knew about it.

Julie breathed a puff of air. Looking to her husband she nodded her head.

"We will keep this from your father, but please keep Al and Jamie's secret. I cant bare to loose them," Julie asked.

"Of course, i wouldnt dare to do anything to ruin what you have," He said. She nodded her head and back they where to business.

Al packed up the ring and sent it on its way, Kyle stuffed it with the packed outfit he had. He was ready to head home. Little did he know what was waiting for him.

His father gazed from his bedroom window at the sight of his eldest son running off.

"Kent dear, what are you looking at?" His wife asked. He turned to find her just walking in the room.

"I dont understand it Abby. Why is he running off?"

"Maybe its because he is confined to this castle? Kent i seem to remember stories that your mother told me about you doing the exact same thing," she said sitting within a chair in their room.

"Yes, but i stopped all that when i was around 16, my father forced it and i had to start my duties then," he said walking over to the side of the bed trying to make his point.
