'Maddie'

Now he knew that name. She was the girl wondering through the forest when he was with Rondelle.  Releasing her hand, he looked at her. She looked much different in person then he thought.

She looked around her and then back at him. "What are you looking at?" She asked.  Realizing that he was staring at her, he slowly turned around and ran a hand through his hair, took a big intake of air and than turned back to look at her.

He could feel his heart pumping and beating like crazy in front of this girl, and he wondered if she truly felt the same thing that he did.

But in reality, she couldn't really tell the difference. Especially with the run that she just did, not to mention going over the knights.

Realizing that he was staring at her, yet again, he looked away. When he didnt say anything for a bit, Maddie decided it was her turn to ask a question, and one that had been on her mind for some time.

"Why aren't u going to do anything," she asked. He just looked at her with a puzzled look.

"Why would I? What would I have to gain from that?" He answered with his own question.

"Your people and mine have been known to have feuds and fights throughout history. And as far as your people are concerned, all Dark Reigns are long gone and dead or out of their hands. Not to mention why we all split up," she said. He nodded his head in agreement.

"Well, in all honesty, I was curious. I have yet to meet one of your kind and in all honesty, i always figured that the story we where always told was a little one sided, if I do say so myself," Kyle said looking all proud and "manly".

Maddie couldn't help herself, she started to burst out laughing and holding her stomach and side. Kyle looked to her, severally worried when she grabbed her side.

Holding up her finger to give her a moment, she took a couple deep breaths and regained her composure. "Sorry, the way you did that just made me laugh like crazy," She said. He just smiled at her, 'Maybe this could work' He though to himself.

"So what where your people told about the story," He asked leaning down.

"My people are never told the story. It can cause issues and people may want to start an uproar, and then another story will begin, but be more bloody and have death follow it from both parties," She said smiling.

He just sat there and watched her as he did a double take over what she said. It made perfect sense.

"You have been told it, correct?" he asked. She just nodded her head.

"The vague version. Majority of these stories where passed down by word of mouth and can be adjusted from person to person," She said.

It made sense to him why there where so many different versions, but the majority of them came to the same conclusion, the King was dead.

Maddie told him the story that she was told growing up, and in reality, it sounded much similar to the one he heard, except for the facts of the Dark Reigns and how they where truly not all at fault, but brought down anyway.

She finished her story and shrugged her shoulders. "Mom and Dad usually dont tell me about these stories for fear I will bring an uprising to your people. But you all have done quit well for yourselves, I'm happy to see," She said looking off to the town.

"Is it possible to see your village," He said. She turned to look at him. "You want to see it," She said. He nodded his head.

"My people come out at night more so than the day time, more fun. But I dont know if you want to sneak out," She said. He had a sly smirk on his face.

"I sneak out all the time, that wont be much of a difference," He said. She had a smile and he could see the light in the bright green eyes of hers.

Standing up she held out her hand and he took it standing up.  "Then I will see you tomorrow night," She said, before running off and maneuvering her way through the woods.

He had a date, with his future mate.
