Kyle stepped into his fathers office. His father just sat there writing down some things.
When he finished,he folded his hands and placed his hands right in front of his face,looking at his eldest son.
"You are almost at that age,son. The age where you will take over the kingdom," he started.
"Dad..." Kyle was about to say,but his father raised his hand as if to stop him.
"However, you need a queen to rule with. You have been looking for her for almost 2 years Kyle. I will not wait any longer for her. I am arranging a marriage for you," he said .
Kyle held his breath. The one thing that he didnt want to happen. For if he was getting married to another dragon and his mate found out,then she would hate him.
He was not going through with this. But he had no choice. His father was the king and he was to listen.
Kyle left his father and ran to his room. It was light blue with black and white all around. Even some gold every now and again.
He looked out the only window by his bed. His eyes wondered to his soon to be kingdom. Then way past the gates, his eyes looked at the enchanted forest that he had heard about long before.
How the dark reigns ran in there and never made it out alive. He never believed that they where really gone. He knew that they where strong. For all the stories they had on them,they lived through hell before taking over the throne.
He just wished he could see them, to find them.
Dark woods
Deep within the woods was a town that all other dragons didnt know existed. It was a paradise to the dark reigns.
It was beautiful and secluded. It was bright and not always dark. It was a new home away from the torture that they would endure from being in the palace gardens.
And only they knew that the woods where a kind and sweet place. They where nothing like the stories said they where. It helped them live,to thrive and continue their life.
They have their own kingdom with a duke and duchess. They have a daughter and a nephew that they take care of.
But the forest was more that just a hiding place for them,it was a place of adventure.
