It took Jane three hours to cook and set up a romantic dinner date for her and Nella. She wanted everything to be perfect. She knew seafood was Nella's favorite, so she decided to break the rules of fine dining. Instead, she wanted to make it fun and messy: something she and Nella seem to enjoy. She thought she was bad at planning, but looking at the table and the decorations she put all over the dining room gave her a boost of self-confidence. She was definitely satisfied with how everything was put together.

When the food was finally ready, she put down the apron and cleaned herself up. She wanted to at least look decent for the love of her life.

Meanwhile, Nella fell asleep on the sofa bed while watching a show in the family room. Jane barred her from going to the kitchen while she was preparing for dinner. Jane smiled at the sight of her. She loved watching her sleep. It always made her heart overflow with more love and adoration for her.

"Love," she caressed her face after sitting down on the sofa with her. "Dinner's ready."

Nella only stirred, but she managed to hold Jane's hand.

"Gising na, baby. Akala ko ba gutom ka na?" Jane smiled. She tilted her head while memorizing every part of Nella's face as she stared at her.

"Mhm," Nella managed to utter, but her eyes were still closed.

"Lalamig na yung hinanda ko oh," Jane tickled her.

"Babe," Nella whined.

"Akala ko ba gusto mo ng playtime? Kaninang umaga mo pa gusto yun eh," Jane grinned.

Nella finally opened her eyes. "What took you so long? Tara na kain na tayo. I can't wait for dessert," she got up quickly and pulled Jane towards the dining room.

"Aba, ang bilis. Playtime lang pala gusto, nag-luto pako," Jane laughed.

Upon seeing the dining room set-up, Nella paused. Her expression turned into a pout. "You did all of this—for me?" She turned her head to look at Jane who smiled in response.

"Oo naman," Jane replied.

Nella ran the back of her pointing finger on the side of Jane's right cheek. "Thank you," she said softly. Then she threw her arms around her and gave her a hug.

"You're welcome, my love," Jane smiled. "Nagustuhan mo ba or nasobrahan or nakulangan or—"

"It's perfect, love." Nella slowly walked around the room, her eyes scanned from the ceiling to the floor. Rose gold balloons floated up the ceiling. There were candles lit up all over the room with a scent that took her deep into the forest, she immediately felt rejuvenated. Curtain lights lined the wall and made the dimly-lit room feel like they were dining with fireflies. Pictures of the two of them taken from her polaroid hovered all over the room. While pink and white balloons scattered all over the floor along with some rose petals. She looked at Jane and continued to pout. "Lahat toh ginawa mo kanina lang?"

Jane giggled. "Yeah, I just waved my magic wand and poof, ganyan na sya."

"Naman eh," Nella whined. She headed towards her now significant other and wrapped her arms around her neck once more. "No one's ever done anything like this for me. Ikaw lang." She looked Jane in the eyes and made her gratitude known.

Jane held Nella's waist and smiled. Then she looked her in the eyes, "Eh, good. Buti naunahan ko sila."

"Sus, sinong 'sila'? Eh wala namang nagkaka-interes sakin let alone mag-aksaya ng oras just to do something like this for me," Nella shook her head.

"Bulag na mga tao ngayon," Jane claimed while she and Nella swayed to the music.

"It's okay, yung gusto ko namang makapansin sakin yung nakapansin sakin eh. That's more than enough," Nella pulled Jane into her arms. "Thank you, PB. Thank you kasi dumating ka sa buhay ko."
