I woke up the next morning, and I was laying against Lando's chest.

We literally fell asleep on our own side of the bed, a bit of empty space in the middle.

But now, 5 hours later, he had his arm around me and I was laying on his chest. On his bare chest, his perfect chest.

How did that happen?

He was still asleep, his breath was a bit louder than normal and I could move away, pretend as if nothing happened.

Pretend as if we didn't sleep in each other's arms, but where's the fun in that? I wanted to know what he would do.

I bet he was gonna get up, pretend as if nothing happened. I was pretty sure about that.

So, I didn't move, pretend as if I was still asleep and I waited until he woke up.

Fortunately, I didn't have to wait very long, only half an hour later or so, he woke up.

He didn't move for a couple of minutes, until I felt his fingers brush against my back and his lips against my forehead before he got up.

He went to the bathroom, while I was still laying in bed. My stomach was acting up, definitely not butterflies.

No, I was just hungry. Yup that was definitely it.

I walked to the kitchen, Kai and Ava were already awake as well. Kai was sitting on the kitchen counter while Ava was leaning against it, her usual cup of coffee in her hands.

"Oh there she is" Kai chuckled and looked at me. "Did you have fun last night?"

"Yeah it was a good night out" I shrugged, poured myself a cup of coffee. "And a better night in your bed, I bet"

Fuck, maybe I was a little too loud.

"Well, you are correct about that" I chuckled, took a sip from my coffee. "Who was i-"

Kai stopped talking, looked behind me and his mouth almost fell open.

"Morning everyone" Lando rough voice sounded from behind me. "And good morning princess" he kissed the top of my head and I could smell my soap on him.

"Good morning" I said, looked behind me. Yes, he was still as handsome as last night.

"Wait, you're Lando" Kai pointed out. Lando nodded, walked up to him and did the typical half hug half handshake guys always did.

Kai absolutely loves F1 and I bet he was a little starstruck.

"I am Ava and he is Kai" Ava introduced the both of them. "Yes I remember you, nice to meet you" Lando smiled, but didn't hug her.

Which was good because Ava hated hugs. Quite the opposite of Lando, I already noticed he loves physical touch.

Lando turned back to me, grabbed the coffee out of my hand and took a sip from it. "I should go though, I have to meet my trainer"

I nodded. "Yeah I understand"

"But I will see you next weekend, right?"

"Definitely"

He handed me the cup of coffee again, kissed my cheek, so soft, so gentle, before he turned back to Kai and Ava. "Bye guys"

"It was nice hearing you, Lando" Ava chuckled, probably referring to last night.

And after he left our apartment, both their faces turned in my direction.

"We're just friends with benefits" I shrugged, giving them the explanation they wanted.

"Friends?" Kai raised his eyebrow. "I will give you a knife because there was so much tension"

"Sexual tension yeah" I nodded.

"There was no sexual tension, Alix" Ava chuckled. "You like the guy"

"I like his body" I put my cup on the counter. "I am gonna take a shower"

And I walked out of the kitchen as fast as I could. I desperately needed a shower.

They were wrong, there was nothing more than sexual tension.

No lines were crossed. Nope.
