A few weeks later

The more I tried to stay away from Alix, the more I wanted to get closer to her instead.

Maybe I just had to say fuck it and just be honest with her.
Maybe I just had risk it.

"What the fuck are you thinking about mate?" Max Fewtrell asked as he snapped me out of my thoughts. "You've been quiet all day"

I was visiting him in London, for no particular reason. Not because I knew Alix would be in London too, to visit her brother.

No, not at all.

"Nothing" I shrugged. "I just-"

I stopped, maybe I had to come clean to him first? Get his opinion about it. He would certainly have some good advice.

"You just what?" He asked.

"I just like this girl, and I don't really know what to do"

That definitely got his attention, because he turned his head from the tv to me. "What girl?"

"Alix"

"Alix Caine? Yeah we all like her mate" he chuckled. Which was true, she was extremely popular on the grid and with the fans.

That's why I stayed away for a couple of weeks. Kinda ignored her in the paddock, let her do her thing, but I still looked out for her.

I was fairly certain that Ryle didn't mention my comment about that dinner to Alix, because if he did, she would be furious.

And she wasn't. She still tried to get in my bed as much as she could, which I always kinda avoided.

Didn't always work, because fuck, this girl was amazing with her mouth, tongue, hips, everything.

So she sucked my dick a few times, we fucked around but way less than before.

"Oh fuck, you really like this girl" Max frowned. "Did you do something with her?"

"I don't kiss and tell" I said. Even though we didn't kiss much, we fucked yeah. We only had sloppy, messy, quick kisses while having sex.

"Then tell her" he shrugged.

"You think I should? She drives for Red Bull, mate"

"Yeah? What about that? You could keep it fairly private if you both want to?"

He was right. We could do that, we did that for months now.

"I-I should go" I said, grabbed my keys and phone. "Yeah you should, good luck mate" Max laughed.

I knew exactly where Ryle lived, because believe it or not, we actually became friends over the past few weeks.

He came to a few races and we shared the same interests. He liked fast cars, old cars, golf and especially motorcycles.

We hung out a few times, even though Alix didn't know about that.

So I drove to his mansion, parked in front of it and rang the doorbell.

Ryle opened the door, he definitely didn't expect me. He frowned, leaned against the doorframe. "Don't think it's a good time, mate"

"Why? Do you have a girl with you?" I laughed. He got a lot of attention from girls, took a few of them home, only to kick them out early in the morning.

"Well, yeah but that's besides the point" he shrugged.

"I am not here for you, I'm here to see Alix, is she here?"

"Yeah she is but-"

"Great, I need to talk to her" I said, walking passed him, inside his house.

He closed the door behind me, while walking after me. "I really don't thin-"

"Is she in the living room?" I asked.

I actually didn't wait for his answer because I was already walking in that direction.

I walked in the living room, only to see Alix sitting on James' lap, her arms around his neck, his hands on her ass.

They were kissing.

And my heart shattered.
