I hate when Jason thinks.

He had the brilliant idea to harness the winds to fly us somewhere else. And that fucking idiot almost crashed us into the side of the mountain.

The anemoi thuellai  took the shapes of horses, and Jason created a chariot out of winds. Which I couldn't see, btw.

"FUCK!" I shrieked as we sped past trees. I held onto Leo's unconscious body in one arm, and Piper was in my other. Coach Hedge was too busy whooping at the top of his lungs to help me. And Jason was holding the invisible reigns.

"BRING IT ON!" Coach shouted.

I screamed as the storm spirits snickered in front before turning sharply. I was slammed against the side of the box, and Leo's fell face first into my boobs. I pushed him off to my side and stumbled over Piper's thigh.

"Left!" Jason ordered, pulling the reigns left.

The horses snickered, this fucking idiot. Watch, Tommy.

The front horse pivoted left so fast I almost went overboard.

Oh my gods, I stared at Jason's back. I'm gonna fucking die via invisible chariot. Oh my fucking gods.

The other horse, Tommy, whinnied in laughter and turned back to the front. Wanna see something funny, Jimbo?

We started approaching a mountain that looked oddly familiar. There were purple clouds resting atop, and the breeze cooled even more.

"Slow down," Jason told them.

The storm spirits didn't listen. In fact, they sped up.

Jason seemed to notice that, "Hey! Slow down!"

Jimbo glanced at Tommy, and Tommy whinnied again. Nah, we're good. You might not be, though.

They sped up even more.

"SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!" I ordered.

Tommy looked over his shoulder and stared at me, Oh look, it's the sea brat.

"Last I checked, my father created you," I spat. "So fucking listen!"

The horse's eyes widened and he slowed down. Jimbo's head fell low, aw man.

Jason shook his head. "How come they listen to you?"

"Poseidon. Horses." I mumbled, looking away from the mountain. If we did crash, I didn't wanna witness it.

Hedge lowered his arms. "Jackson, we could've survived that!"

Leo mumbled something and his face turned red.

The storm spirits brought us in for a soft landing in the entrance of a cave. It was snowing, which only made my mood worse. I was already having a shitty day—a shitty week, well, you know what? I've just had a bad life, I think that's the issue.

Coach Hedge got out of the chariot and it collapsed into nothing and I fell three feet to the floor. Luckily, I didn't hurt anything, but I still glared at Jason.

He forced the storm spirits back into their backpack, even though they started cussing him out for that. Hedge grabbed Piper and walked inside the cage, I followed with Leo.

"Hey," Jason said as we followed the satyr.

I grunted in greeting.

"How are you?" Jason asked. "I mean, after Festus—"

"I'm fine." I said, readjusting Leo. I had one arm of his over my shoulder, and my arm around his waist. It was a lot harder considering he was three inches taller than me, but hey, I've had to carry an unconscious Percy up a hill, so.
