I barely remembered what happened when we entered the dining pavilion.

We told our story, answered a million questions from campers, but finally, Chiron saw how tired we were and ordered us to bed.

Will Solace was glaring at me from across the pavilion. As soon as Chiron dismissed us, he motioned for me to walk over.

Will stuck his hand out, wanting my arm so he could see what injuries I have.

"I'm invulnerable, remember!" I put on a fake smile.

"I heard the damn story, Jackson."

"Aww," I sighed.

"Did you get hurt?" Will asked, making a grabbing motion for my arm.

"No, I'm fine." I said. If he even laid a finger on me, he could see whatever injury I had, and all my past injuries.

The son of Apollo raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "I saw that kid carrying you, you're obviously hurt."

"I'm fine!" I spread my arms, which hurt, but I hid the wince pretty well.

"Walk to the entrance and back."

I did as Will asked. Did it hurt? Yes. Was I going to tell that to Will who would fuss over me forever, before eventually treating me? Fuck no.

As I made my final steps to him, Will sighed. "Fine. Go to bed, Jackson."

"Yes, doctor. Where's Neeks?" I asked.

"He's out looking for Percy." Will said quietly.

I nodded and walked off. "Night, Solace."

He gave me a curt nod as I left.

Leo jogged up to me. "Who was that?"

"The doctor. I swear, he can tell when I'm hurt." I mumbled.

"Right, let's get you patched up, then." Leo said. He grabbed my elbow and started to try and pull me back to the dining pavilion. I turned and planted my feet, pulling my arm away.

"No way!" I backed up towards the cabins. "He's scary! I can heal myself in my cabin, just fine."

"I'm helping."

"Ugh, fine."

When we arrived to Cabin Three, it was the same as I left it. I still had some clothes laid out on my bed. Percy's side was still a mess. I took out some gray PJ shorts, and a gray T-shirt. One of Percy's, a band he liked, but I never listened to. He was more grunge style than mine. Whatever mine was.

Flipping open a drawer with my foot, I winced as I bent down to grab some underwear and a bra. I had no idea how long Leo was staying in my cabin, so.

I walked over to Percy's closet and took out one of his swim team hoodies.

Leo watched the entire time, standing in the middle of the room.

"Aren't you gonna go change or something?" I raised my eyebrows.

"I thought I was helping you get fixed up?" Leo frowned.

"I'm showering first."

"Smart," Leo nodded.

Silence as we stared at each other.

"Go shower, Valdez."

"Yes, ma'am, sorry ma'am." Leo took off out the door.
