THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING ON THIS JOURNEY WITH ME😭😭😭

With an entire month going by within the blink of an eye, the heroes take more precaution within their patrols, finding it oddly suspicious with nothing happening, not even a single attempt to ambush them, considering that they were unaware of what Shigaraki was plotting.

"This is foolish what we're doing!" Endeavor slams his fist against the table where the other heroes were currently having a morning meeting before starting their patrols across the town. "If we don't make a move first, we'll just be giving them their chance to attack us first!"

Tsukauchi speaks up from his seat. "I understand your concerns Endeavor, but this is a state of emergency, we cannot take any further risks that can reduce our chances to stopping Shigaraki, we'll make sure that we'll be ready when he strikes..." He says firmly, but still not stopping the other heroes around the table thinking about Endeavor's words.

"I think he's got a point though..." Kaminari says, his thumb on his chin in concern, while Tsuyu rolls her eyes. "You always think everyone has a point."

Shoto joins in. "She's not wrong-." He says with a soft chuckle.

Toshinori interrupts, noticing that they were going off topic. "Anyways, let's get back to the main topic, we're going off course and not here to discuss Chargebolt's intelligence."

"But... He does have a point."

Mirko interjects with a hostile tone. "Oh, so now we're going on loop?!" She says crossing her arms, her patience slowly going thin.

"I'm not saying this to start it over, what I am saying is that Endeavor has a point, keep in mind that we're unaware of the villains' current plan. Whether they plan to strike first or not, we're still in the disadvantage." Toshinori answers back, before continuing. "Maybe Endeavor is right, if they won't make a move, maybe we should. Supposedly an ambush is what I mean."

"An ambush?! Those damned villains are probably watching us right now! What makes you think that we can plot an ambush?!" Tsukauchi shouts back in defence of his idea.

And with that, the entire table was arguing in raised voices, debating on which plan is relevant or not, while Deku just sat on his chair, nervous with slight panic, thinking whether he should speak up or not, before his train of thought is interrupted by the light tapping on his shoulder. He turns his head to the person sitting beside him, it was Shoto.

In the midst of all chaos in the room, Shoto leans to his ear, and whispers with his usual unreadable expression. "So...  How should we deal with this...?" He asks, the raised voices still loud in the room.

Deku sips on his cup of coffee, then placing it down back to the table before rubbing his eyes in slight frustration. "I don't know Todoroki, seems like everyone here is not on the same page."

Deku sighs. "But your dad really does have a point, if we don't make a move, we're just handing Shigaraki the advantage here." He continues. "Maybe All Might was right, we probably do need to ambush them, if anything I think Shigaraki's trying to get stronger the same way he did last time in the first war 9 years ago, by staying in an incubator for a certain amount of time to get stronger."
