Since Dumbledore left, Umbridge has fully taken over the school. She put up more stupid rules that we are forced to follow. She had Filch take down every painting and portraits off the walls. She has the whole school on lock down! She locked the main entrance! Like what the hell?! Now, she had everyone who was part of Dumbledore's Army go to the great hall for our punishment. What's our punishment? Blood quills. 'I must not break school rules.' written over and over again for an hour!! I was sitting between George and May, My left hand sore from the blood quill. I looked up at the front of the hall, where Umbridge sat, drinking her stupid pink tea with a stupid smug look on her stupid little toad face. Bitch. Evil little pink toad bitch. I was to shred her into pieces and feed her to a centaur. Or give her to a centaur and let them rape her til she dies.
Finally, Umbridge let us leave. I walked out of the hall with Fred, George, and May. I purposely bumped into Cho, I don't like her at all. I never had and never will. Especially now that she went and snitched on us to Umbridge and got us in trouble! We went into the common room and I sat down by the fire place. I looked down at my throbbing left hand, I swear, I'm going to have a permanent scar on my hand because of all of these blood quill writing punishments.

"You did everything you could, Harry." Ron tried to comfort Harry. "No one could win against that old stupid, pink toad."
"even Dumbledore didn't see this coming." Hermione added. "Harry, if it's anyone's fault. It's ours."
"Yeah," Ron agreed. "We talked you into it."
"Yeah, but I went along with it." Harry said, "I tried so hard to help and all it's done is make things worse. Anyway, that doesn't matter anymore. Because I don't want to play anymore. All it does is make you care too much. And the more you care, the more you have to lose. So maybe it's just better to..."
"to what?" I asked Harry.
"To go alone," Harry answered.
"You know, Harry." I started, "we're all in this together. We're right by your side and we won't let anything stop us from doing so."
"Ember's right, Harry." Hermione said, "We want to help."
Harry sighed and looked out into the open. We were at a bridge that's behind the castle. I looked at Ron and Hermione, giving them a look that said, 'can I talk to him alone?' Hermione nodded and motioned Ron to leave with her. Once they left, I went next to Harry and looked out the arch of the bridge. "Harry. Don't beat yourself up. None of us knew this was going to happen. It isn't your fault."
"Really? Then why do I feel like it is?" Harry questioned.
"Harry. I'm serious. Don't pin this on you. I was part of it as well. I helped lead them. But if it's anyone's fault. It's Umbridge's and," I paused. "Cho's. She gave us away to Umbridge."
"I still think I should do this alone," Harry said.
I turned to him, "Harry. I'm being serious. You shouldn't do anything alone. Especially fighting. Hermione, Ron, and I. And everyone in DA are willing to risk getting hurt to fight with you and for what we believe in."
"Ember,-"
I groaned, "stop bring so stubborn! We're in this together."
"There's no way of getting rid of you?"
I shook my head, "nope."
Harry turned to look at me. "I'm glad I have you guys."
I smiled, "you're lucky to have us. I swear, you'd be long gone if Ron, Hermione, and I weren't with you."
Harry gave me a small smile, "probably. But you'd be gone as well if it wasn't for us."
"See, Harry. We need all need each other."
"You're right." Harry said. He looked at me for a second. Then he, started to lean in until his lips touched mine. I stood there, trying to comprehend what was happening.
"Ember." I heard a family voice. I pushed Harry away and looked up. I saw who the voice belonged to. It was Draco.
"Draco," I started, but couldn't finish because Draco punched Harry in the face. I gasped in shock, "Harry!" Draco looked at me, then stormed away. I looked at Harry, who now had a bloody nose. "Harry, are you okay?!"
Harry pulled his sleeve to his nose, "ah." Harry winced.
"Harry, have Hermione fix it. I have to go." I ran away and went after Draco. I saw Draco walking down the hill, I ran over to catch up to him. "Draco!" He didn't stop. He picked up his pace i ran over to him and grabbed his arm. "Draco."
"What!?" Draco suddenly stopped walking and snapped at me.
I let go of his arm, "Draco. What you saw back there, wasn't-"
"Wasn't what?" Draco accused, "I should have known. I knew Potter loved you."
"Draco. It's not like that."
"Do you love Potter?" Draco asked.
"Of course I do," I replied. "But-"
"So you do love him." Draco pressed, obviously hurt and angry.
"Draco. I love him as a brother. Not like the way you think I do." I could feel tears building up in my eyes, threatening to fall.
"Just forget it." Draco said, "forget all of it."
"What do you mea-"
He cut me off, "forget everything. Forget, us."
I was stunned. I was shocked. I was, I don't know how I felt. "W-what?"
"I said. Forget us. Forget everything we had." Draco said, "bye November."
Then, he walked away, leaving me alone.
