I got dressed into a black strapless dress with a bow around the waist. I put on a little make up around my eyes and put half of my hair up with a white bow. I put on a bow necklace and heart bracelet. Once I put them on, I realized that Draco was the one who gave them to me. Memories of Draco and I clouded my head. I was only pulled out of the sweet thoughts of Draco by Harmony.
"Mummy, I need help." Harmony said and showed me her unzipped dress.
I walked over to her and zipped up her plaid pink and white dress. I grabbed small heart earrings and put them on her while she slipped on her pink flats. I put on her butterfly necklace and smiled at her. "You look like a princess," I kissed her forehead.
She smiled at me, "thank you Mummy!"
I put on black and white converse and went downstairs. Harmony ran outside. "Don't get your dress dirty!" I called out. I just heard her laugh. I went into the kitchen to see George smirking at Harry. Harry backed away awkwardly and left the kitchn. "What was that all about?" I asked George as I took a toothbrush out of his bandaged ear.
"Nothing." George smirked. He looked at me up and down. "You look gorgeous."
I smiled at him, "well thank you. You look quite beautiful yourself."
"Thank you Love." He laughed. "Come on, let's go help put up the tents. We went outside and helped the others put up the tent where the reception party will take place. There was a loud snap and a man walked over. "Bloody hell," George said. "What's the Minister of Magic doing here?"
"Dunno. But something tells me he didn't come to give away the bride." Ron joked a little.
"I must speak to Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and November Bolton." The Minister spoke loudly.Harry and I exchanged glances and we went into the Burrow. We all squeezed into one sofa while Scrimgeour sat across from us. "To what do we owe the pleasure, Minister?" Harry asked politely.
"I think we both know the answer to that question, Mr. Potter." Scrimgeour placed a cloth bag on the coffee table."And this would be...?" Harry questioned.
"Don't be coy, Mr. Potter." Scrimgeour looked at Ron. "Mr. Weasley. Would you say you were close to your former Headmaster?"Dumbledore? And me?" Ron questioned. "I dunno. I reckon I was just another Weasley to him. He was always polite -"
Scrimgeour cut him off. "And you, Miss Granger? How would you characterize your relationship?"
"We were friendly, not close like Harry and Ember, but -"
I cut Hermione off. "What's this all about?"
"This. Despite the fact that neither of your friends appear to have been particularly close to their recently deceased. Headmaster, he saw fit to remember them in his will. Now why do you suppose that would be?" Scrimgeour asked,
Ron, Harry, Hermione and I exchanged glances."No idea." Harry said.
Scrimgeour gave us a look. "Come now, you don't expect me to believe.." He reached into his cloak and pulled out a rolled up piece of parchment. "'Herein is set forth the Last Will and Testament of Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. First, to Ronald Bilius Weasley, I leave my Deluminator, a device of my own making, in the hope that -- when things seem most dark -- it will show him the light.'" Scrimgeour removed a small silver object from the bag and handed it to Ron.
"Dumbledore left this? For me? Brilliant. Er -- what is it?" Ron clicked it and all the light rushed from the lamps into the Deluminator, throwing the room into total darkness. He clicked it again and light flew back to the lamps. "Wicked."
"'To Miss Hermione Jean Granger, I leave my copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, in the hope that she will find it entertaining and instructive.'" Scrimgeour reached into the bag once again and retrieved a small book, its binding stained and peeling in places.
