Chapter 8: A Stormy Reunion

Command Center, Azur Lane
Note: "Going to do Tribunal's POV for the rest of the story."

I was cleaning up the Command Center since it was stormy tonight until we got word that the fleet commission have return which it was Enterprise who is Gettysburg's sister and someone he always look up to. I heard story about Enterprise to be famous in Azur Lane which makes me jealous, but as Gettysburg girlfriend I need to make sure that she approve of our relationship. I finish cleaning the upper level and notice Enterprise is heading this direction. I bow before Enterprise just like your average maid, but Enterprise order me to act my usual self.

Tribunal(bow): Welcome back Enterprise."

Enterprise: "Please; you make me embarrass and you can act your usual self when I'm around."

Tribunal: "But I'm a maid today so I have to do my job."

Enterprise: "I let it slide for today."

We both walk together which makes me nervous because this girl will become my sister in law if I marry to Gettysburg in the future including Hornet and Yorktown. I start to sweat like crazy because I don't want to ruin this opportunity, but my body flick when Enterprise ask me.

Enterprise: "Tribunal?"

Tribunal(shock): "WHAT?"

Enterprise(happy): "You don't need to so alarm near me. I want to say of how you and Gettysburg is doing?"

Tribunal: "We're doing okay; we went to the Eagle Union party the other day."

Enterprise: "I heard about that from Cleveland. Sorry that I wasn't there during that day; I was busy with some commission and some missions from top brass."

I told her that's okay since we have a good fun together which makes her happy, but she hit me with a question that is worrying.

Enterprise: "I saw Akashi making voices and character that looks like a Commander. I try my best with Queen Elizabeth, but she didn't told me anything about what happen to the Commander. Do you know something since you work with her as a maid?"

Tribunal: "I have a feeling that you notice, but yes something does happen to the Commander; however Queen Elizabeth order the maids that is closer to her to keep a secret, but rest assure that the Commander is safe.... He requires rest."

Enterprise: "Surprise that you able to tell me about this."

Tribunal: "Of course; I trust you more and of course I see you as a sister."

We both laugh because it is the truth; I see her as one of my sisters and I watch her strength including her aura; I wish there is a Venator-Class have the same name as her. I look at the time on my watch and it was time for me to get ready to head home so I can try Amagi's cooking.

Tribunal: "It's time for me to head home. Amagi's is making special today."

Enterprise: "Than don't let me keep you."

I left while I wave goodbye to Enterprise before heading out of the Command Center.

Time Skip
Sakura Dorm, Azur Lane

I walk home with my umbrella since it is still raining which my umbrella is similar to Amagi's umbrella, but it is blue. I enter the room where I can see Akagi, Kaga, and Amagi sitting around at the pot waiting for me to return from work.

Akagi: "Welcome back Tribunal. How's your day?"

Tribunal: "Great; I have a talk with Enterprise today."

Amagi: "She's back from her mission?"

I nod and sit near Mother who is offering some piece for me and we begun eating the pot. Akagi and Amagi is talking about having a family outing in the future which she agree, but need to pass through Queen Elizabeth and see that I have a day off which angers Akagi.

Akagi(angry): "Not only she is talking my Commander, but taking Tribunal and ruin things."

Amagi: "Akagi; we know that, but she is still the secretary of Azur Lane so please be mindful of talking like that."

Everyone agree and finish eating the pot which contains leftover so Amagi decide to put them in the fridge for later. Akagi went to bed including Amagi while me and Mother is sitting on the porch deck and staring at the storm. It reminds with of visiting of Kamino where it is nothing but stormy on that planet. I was about to fallen asleep until I feel something touch my head and push down toward Mother's lap which was Mother.

Kaga: "Remember the time we first met; it was before the Joint Training Exercise with the Great Factions. We found you inside one of the Siren transport ships during patrols."

I remember all of it. Siren revive me to bring war against humanity, but I got scare due to their glowing eyes because it reminds me of "HIM" and I escape. It was the most scary things I experience in my life, but if I haven't escape from the Sirens than I won't able to meet with Mother and become her enemy. This is my second chance in life and I'm not going to ruin it. Gettysburg, Enterprise, Akagi, Amagi, Hornet, Queen Elizabeth, Belfast, Yorktown, and of course Mother; they brought light and warmth to my soul. Yesterday I was trap in the frozen moon cover in snow and now I'm cover by warmth of love. I was about to sleep on Mother's lap while she is humming a nice tune that makes me sleepy. It wants me to stay here forever.

Meanwhile
Sakura Dorm, Azur Lane
Kaga POV

I was humming some tunes that Amagi teach me and I notice Tribunal sleeping on my lap. I look around to see everyone went to bed and the storm is about to light up which the clouds break to let the moonlight to pierce down where we're at. Tribunal's tail is shiny with the moon's light. I was about to break into a smile until I notice Amagi is smiling at her balcony.

Amagi(happy): "It's been a long time since you smile Kaga."

I was about blush like crazy but notice Tribunal is sleeping on my lap so I decide to let this go for a day and return to normal in the morning.
