Chapter 26: Check-Up With Vestal

Medical Facility, Azur Lane
Tribunal POV

It was that time again for my check-up with Vestal and see that my baby is doing okay. I walk into the hospital main entrance where I can see Vestal talking with another repair Kansen and notice me walking in.

Vestal: "Welcome back Tribunal; ready for your check-up?"

I nod and we both walk into her office to exam my body including the baby. I have to talk with Belfast that I been missing the Royal Maid Training that is happening today and Lady Valiant have someone to take over my maid duty for her. I lay down on the medical stand and Vestal examine my belly with the scanner to see the baby. Vestal is smiling like this is a good news I have in the long time.

Vestal: "The good news is that the baby is good. You need to stay for the day because you're getting closer to birth."

Tribunal(worry): "Is there something I need to do?"

Vestal: "For now rest and we handle the rest."

I got word from Vestal that Tribunal is staying at the hospital for the day due to birth getting closer which makes me worry so I decide to get some air until it was time for me to visit her and I trust Vestal of doing the work since she help me help Enterprise with her problems during her time at Azur Lane, but I still worry that something would go wrong, but my mind breaks when I notice Queen Valiant wearing a maid swimsuit with a trident in her hand at the beach and see Neptune taking photos which cause Valiant to fall into the water.

Gettysburg(confuse): "What are they doing over there?"

I know Neptune isn't a maid, but continue to do activity with the other maids since her skills isn't profitable for the maids, but still a skillful. I continue to watch them doing some photos of some fantasy magical girl stuff like Long Island said or Saratoga. I continue to wait until Vestal arrive with news.

Vestal: "It's time."

This is it; this is the moment I'm waiting for and I'm nervous and scare at the same time. Vestal order me to remain on stand by just in case Tribunal wants me to there as support. She never experience of having a child before or giving birth to one so this a new experience for her and of course me as well. I enter the Medical Facility.

I can hear Tribunal screaming in pain while I'm by her side while Vestal is order her to relax and push which Tribunal is holding my hand which is getting crush like her crushing a rock with all of her strength. I can feel my bones breaking like sticks. This progress is going over about an hour until Vestal eyes widen up and order Tribunal to push little forward and we can hear a baby crying.

Vestal: "Baby girl incoming."

The operation was a successful, but I request Vestal to look at my hand because I think Tribunal broke it into million pieces, but right now Vestal give the baby toward both of us.

Tribunal(happy): "She looks like me."

The baby girl has the same fox ears and fox tails like Tribunal. The baby continue to cry while Vestal decide to check the girl out before we move to the next phase of parenting. After Vestal check on the baby and inform us that she has indeed a wisdom cube in her chest, but the difference is that it's shiny violet and icy just like the father's wisdom cube. She has Tribunal's looks, but have the same power as me. I'm happy that we able to have a child of our own and Tribunal continue to look at our child while she is extremely tire from the operation which I don't blame her for it.

Tribunal: "Our little Resolute. I wish my sisters can see this."

Gettysburg: "I bet they are and probably be happy to see you been happy."

Tribunal smile before she decide to fallen asleep like our baby girl.

Vestal: "It's going to be a while until she gets back on her feet. I inform you when it's time to get both of them home."

I thank Vestal for helping us which she smiles because she owes Enterprise some debts for saving her life from the Sirens and this is one of them debts. I head out to the visitor's room where I decide to take a nap until it was time for me to see them again.

I continue to take a nap until I got poke in the face by a finger and hearing a beautiful voice coming out of the darkness. It was Tribunal and she is holding our baby.

Tribunal: "Time to wake up darling. It's time to head home."

I wake up and stand up while I can see Resolute still sleeping soundly.

Gettysburg: "Ready to head home?"

She nod and we both left the hospital.

Tribunal POV

We able to get home from our trip from the hospital and I invite Mother, Aunt Akagi, Aunt Amagi, and of course Gettysburg's sisters to see Resolute which she is crying after seeing Enterprise for the first time. Enterprise is confuse and scare of what she needs to do so Yorktown decide to handle it which cause Resolute to smile and giggle which makes Yorktown happy while Enterprise is jealous of Yorktown older sister aura.

Yorktown(happy): "Reminds me when we're young Enterprise. I hold you like this."

Enterprise: "That was long time ago."

Akagi: "I'm happy for you Tribunal. I got this from Lady Nagato."

I read the letter that was send from Nagato and inform me that they're going to do a Sakura Empire event that celebrate a new family member to the Empire. We better get ready for that event.
