Chapter 14: Sisterly Bonds on the Court

Eagle Union Sector, Azur Lane
Tribunal POV

I was invited by Gettysburg to join in the basketball tournament that is occur today which I join with Hornet who is the youngest sister of the Yorktown, but older than Gettysburg so basically my third sister in law. We're walking through the Eagle Union section while the Queen is training to use basketball, but she is bad of it so we let Cleveland to help her after the Queen throw the basketball across the field.

Hornet: "I want to thank you for joining."

Tribunal: "It was Gettysburg who invite me and I don't want to lose a golden opportunity to spend time with you."

Hornet(happy): "I always want to spend time with my sister in law once you two are getting married. Speak about that; how's the progress?"

I inform Hornet that everything is doing great except that part with Iron Blood which Hornet was inform from the Queen which the sisters scold him for saying something stupid, but at least it makes me happy that he thinks about me. We continue to have a tour around the sector where we enjoy some food while watching the game.

Hornet: "One more thing is that we're going to have a party once the tournament is over."

Tribunal: "Is Gettysburg joining the match?"

Hornet: "Negative; I got word that he is planning something for the both of you, but it's a secret."

I wonder it's our honeymoon vacation. He did say that he was planning a trip for both of us after we're getting marry which isn't long. After saying that; I'm starting to get nervous all the sudden because what happen if I'm not a good wife for him or I wonder if he is thinking the same thing. My thought break when Hornet tap my shoulder.

Hornet(happy): "You make a same face when my brother is worry about something that goes wrong. You two are good couple. I'm excited to see you in your wedding dress.... Is it Sakura Empire?"

Tribunal: "Yea; I have Takeo to give me advise about a good idea for a wedding dress which she got it at the Custom Office."

Hornet is excited to see my wedding dress, but have to wait until the wedding. Akagi, Kaga, and Amagi will be there including Nagato as the flagship of the Sakura Empire, but the most nervous is Enterprise who is the flagship of the Eagle Union. I wonder if they have a another party.

We continue to explore the entire event until it was time for the game which Hornet was the host of the game.

Hornet: "Time for me to start the game."

She left while I wait for someone or at least something to happen which my shiny knight has arrive. It was Gettysburg.

Gettysburg: "Who let a beautiful maiden by herself? Do I need to teach Hornet a lesson about been a good host?"

Tribunal: "Hello Gettysburg and no she left to attend the game."

We both laugh at our jokes and decide to spend the time together at the events. We decide to check on the food which is bunch of box lunches which we decide to buy some for ourselves including some for Hornet since she is the host of the game. We can hear the bell ringing which means the game has started.

Gettysburg: "Should we?"

I nod and we both head to the game.

Time Skip
Command Center, Azur Lane

We decide to have the party at the Grand Hall where I'm wearing a dress for this special occasion including some girls and also Gettysburg who is wearing a suit because this party was setup by his older sister so he need to respect it. Cleveland and her sisters won the match so the honor is them, but I notice Cleveland isn't around and I was about to head out to find her, but I was stop by Gettysburg.

Gettysburg: "I already send Helena to find her. How about we enjoy the party together?"

I was happy about this and decide to join the party with my future husband, but I want to invite him over the balcony because I want to get this out of my chest.

Tribunal: "Can we spend some time alone at the balcony?"

He agree with me and we both head out to the balcony. We arrive at the balcony where I need to get this out of my chest.

Tribunal: "You know that I was built as a warship for the Republic in my old world or galaxy in that matter.... I thought that my entire life is to fight a war... I never have a thought of having a future because I know that I'm going to get scrap like my sisters including Council, but after seeing Mother and the other girls in Azur Lane or the Crimson Axis. I start to cry because getting married and hopefully have children was never in my thought. I was build for war and I will die for it, but now not anymore."

I can feel Gettysburg warm comfort me while talking to me.

Gettysburg: "You know that sounds like Enterprise before becoming a flagship of the Eagle Union. She always put herself in harm's way to protect her family. She think that she was built for war until we able to put some sense into her. That's probably that is great about you that I like about."

Tribunal: "You think that I'm look like your sister despite the fact that I can destroy you with my lasers."

Gettysburg stop where he is going with this and kept quiet about it which I almost laugh to see his face turn shock. I wouldn't do that to my future husband unless he did something that I don't like.

Tribunal: "Now should we head back inside and enjoy the party?"

He agree and we both went back inside to enjoy the rest of the party.
