Chapter 24: Heartfelt Confessions at Sakura Dorm

Tribunal POV

It's been another month has pass since the news have arrive and I'm been order to clean up at the Sakura Dorm since there was a mess during the party with sake, but it give me some peace and mind. I start to get things cleaning up until I notice Taihou walking toward the entrance with a sad look on her face which I'm start to get worry so I decide to see what's wrong because she is like a good sister to me.. Probably a older sister. I approach Taihou who sigh while sitting in the bench.

Tribunal: "Something wrong Taihou?"

Taihou: "Tribunal? I'm got a lot of things on my mind."

Tribunal: "What is it?"

Taihou: "I want to get closer to Commander, but things aren't looking good. I'm not forceful as Akagi, having childhood like Junyou, or those Iron Blood girls make sexy poses for the Commander."

I still remember that part where I saw Prinz Eugen wearing her swimsuit at the Command Center which caught me off guard and she want to know why I was there because I was order by the Commander to grab some documents from his office because he was doing his work at his house since he got a broken leg. Good thing he skip going to his office on that day and I didn't say anything about this to Prinz Eugen because she will sneak into his house. Taihou is the type to move on her pace, but become unsuccessful which cause me to hold her hand.

Tribunal: "I know that Aunt Akagi is the type to be forceful, but you have an advantage. You're smart and have a nice body figure that draws men to you. You need to show every girls that you can win this. Just be yourself and I bet the Commander will see you as not a kansen, but as a woman who cares."

Taihou was shock that I would say that because of Aunt Akagi, but Taihou is like a sister to me and I want her to be happy for a chance. I want to make sure that she has a bright future; after a good talk for couple of hours until her stomach growl which I giggle and bring out a bento boxes for lunch.  We start having our lunch while continue to talk about her romance relationship with the Commander.

Tribunal: "Of course the Commander is a bit dense when it comes to romance, but of course he is the leader of Azur Lane so it's going to be hard for him to find a good partner when girls are gawking him, but if you try something different that makes Commander comfortable than it's possible that he see your way."

Taihou thinks about what I just say and stand up with new determine in her mind.

Taihou: "You're right; I can't let Akagi or the other girls get their hands on the Commander. It's time for me to come with a plan and no one is going to stop me."

I smile because that is Taihou that I know and love as a sister. Taihou grab my hand with a smile on her face which makes me smile in return.

Taihou: "Thank you Tribunal. If it wasn't for you than I would be stuck on this bench and soak a lot. I'm glad that you're also my sister."

???: "What about me Taihou?"

We both turn around with sweat in our bodies because we know that voice from anyone which is Taihou's older sister and rival of the Great Yamato. It was Toshikaze who is holding a umbrella.

Tribunal: "Lady Toshikaze. Welcome back."

Toshikaze: "Thank you Tribunal and I see my dear little sister is having trouble to romance. You should told me about this little sister."

Taihou: "I don't want to disturb you."

Toshikaze: "I'm your sister Taihou; it's my job to watch over you."

Toshikaze grab Taihou with lovely sister hug before she drag her out of the bench and heading to the dorm to commence a plan to romance the Commander, but I know in fact that she is getting the upper hand against Yamato. Those two are always at each other throat because Toshikaze thinks it's time for the carriers to rising the new of warships while battleships get a retirement. Only reason that Toshikaze doesn't go any further because Yamato is the flagship of the Sakura Empire before Nagato. Toshikaze is a big fan of gold so Yamato bride her with gold to keep her distance away from the rest of the fleet while she commence her own operation of collecting gold for the Empire. Toshikaze never seen actions during her life time, but she is the most powerful carrier that doesn't require any escorts which makes her dangerous. I start to rub my grown belly before standing up and clean up before going back to work.

I return to the dorm and see Taihou is fighting against Akagi who makes a bet of who would steal the heart of the Commander. Mother is making some food for me since my hunger increase ever since I'm pregnant and probably will get worst until I'm ready for birth. Amagi is making some tea since I can't have sake due to the health of the child, but at least I have some sweets that keep my energy up for the rest of the day. I know that I support my Aunt, but I also support my sister Taihou.
