Chapter 10: Training Grounds of Duty and Dreams

Sakura Training Ground, Azur Lane

I was sweeping the ground of the dojo from the orders of Nagato who is having a meeting and the groundkeeper is sick today so I volunteer to help out until she recovers. I learn that the Queen is getting new dresses for occasion or is one of her hobbies which reminds me that I probably need to get a new dress for my next date with Gettysburg. That was enough for making me blush, but I stop when I notice someone coming to the Training Ground which is Takeo the sister of Atago. She always come here to train with her katana; I decide to talk with her.

Tribunal: "Greetings Takeo. Training again?"

Takeo: "Greetings Tribunal and yes. I need to maintain my activities."

Tribunal: "What is your sister being doing?"

Takeo sigh and answer my question with a worry look on her face.

Takeo: "She is trying to become a secretary shipgirl for the Commander."

I know Atago all full well because she is similar way as Akagi, but with different ways of doing it which is pretending to be his big sister or something like that. Atago is a strange shipgirl, but she have her way with the others which is troubling unless you're Takeo who know her too well as sisters. Takeo equip her katana and train at the ground while I sweep the deck until Takeo wants to ask me and see if I want to join her for session.

Takeo: "Do you want to train with me?"

I start to think because I still need to clean the building, but I think I can take a break so I accept the offer and dress up before heading to the training ground. I'm wearing small amount of working clothes which my breast is showing little to much, but we're all women here. I equip with a katana and I remember what the Jedi does with their lightsaber. Takeo rush at me which I was able to react and deflect her blade; thus the fight has begun.

Time Skip
Sakura Training Ground, Azur Lane

It was about couple of hours until it was time for a stop and we're both are sweating like crazy which Takeo have to remove some of her clothes which she is wearing her black short sleeve shirt. I give her some bottle of water to thirst our sweats.

Takeo: "Thank you Tribunal. That was good reflexes. We should do this again."

Tribunal: "You're welcome and I like to do that."

We're both sit on the bench that is overlooking at the base and see everyone doing their usual things.

Takeo: "To tell you the truth. When we first met before the Joint Operation; I thought that you're a spy working for the Sirens, but I can't get between you and Kaga. Kaga cares about you a lot like a mother and I'm worry that I'm stepping on bad rocks, but after everything you did for us. I welcome you as part of our family."

This makes me happy that Takeo accept me as part of the Sakura Empire; I was worry that I don't got her expectation of me during the Joint Exercise, but now we're good friends. It was about couple of hours until we're about to continue with our training until Akashi arrive with a worry look on her face.

Akashi: "Takeo; can you come down to the dorm?"

Takeo(confuse): "Why?"

Akashi: "Atago and the Queen both collapse on the floor after watching a horror movie."

Takeo sigh and unequip her katana before redress herself with her uniform while at the same time I decide to take a shower before continue cleaning the shrine.

Takeo: "We do this again later."

I agree and we went our separate ways.

Time Skip
Grill Bar, Azur Lane

I was eating some good meat on the grill which is famous in the Sakura Empire, but I was alone since Kaga is still having a meeting with the other high ranking shipgirls, but looks like that was about to change when I hear a familiar voice behind me. It was Takeo.

Takeo: "May I sit here?"

I nod and we both share the meats while talking about what happen this afternoon.

Tribunal: "How's your sister?"

Takeo: "Atago isn't a great fan of horror. She passed out after watching it."

Tribunal: "How troubling."

She nod and drink her cup of sake before resuming eating the meat.

Takeo: "Weird that you're eating by yourself. I thought Kaga or Gettysburg will be here to join you."

Tribunal: "Mother is at a meeting and Gettysburg is out on a mission so it just me."

Takeo and I continue our talk until both of us got drunk from drinking too much sake after we decide to have a contest to see who pass out which was Takeo and I pass out after she did. That was the greatest day of my life with a good friend. Takeo also grab some photos and burn it to the fire which I was shock to see her throw away.

Tribunal(shock): "What you doing to those photos?"

Takeo: "Those are some photos of Atago for the Commander, but I'm burning them for their own good."

I notice some of the photos of Atago wearing sleeping wear and her swim outfit which is showing too much which I agree with Takeo.

Takeo: "My sister is always want attention by using her body to get it. Remind me of Prinz Eugen of doing it, but she prefer to be the older sister than a succubus."

Tribunal: "According to the photos; I think she is similar to Prinz Eugen even she reject it."

She nod of my agreement and continue to have our meal before heading out. It was a great night for me.
