Chapter 21: Rivals Over Coffee

I'm drinking coffee with Nijmegen who is having the same thing as I have, but the silence is still there because we're rivals to the bone and I bet he still angry that we have to team up for the golf course chapter or I got married to my girlfriend with a beautiful house at the outskirts of the base.

Gettysburg: "Jealous that I got married first and have a good looking house."

Nijmegen(angry): "That's because that house is a gift from Amagi so don't rub it in. Beside; you still own me a couple of bucks from last week."

I'm confuse until I realize that I broke his rig during the exercise which blew up his turrets. He was shock that had happen and demand of what happen which he figure out that sabotage his rig without him looking, but I didn't say I promise to repair it. I continue sipping my coffee while I can see Nijmegen in his anger face while I almost giggle myself.

Nijmegen(angry): "YOU BASTARD!"

Nijmegen was about to sit down until something came flying underneath  the table and took it which cause us to hold it so the stuff that is on the table doesn't break and add that to our bill. We're staring at each other with confusion in our eyes and decide to investigate what cause the commotion. We look underneath the table and see a U-Boat kansen hiding under the table. It was U-1206 from the Wolfpack.

U-1206: "HELLO NIJMEGEN AND GETTYSBURG! WANT TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK?"

Nijmegen(confuse): "Who is playing the seek?"

U-1206: "Lady Bismarck."

Me and Nijmegen are shocking after hearing that; we didn't expect Bismarck is the type to play hide and seek; we always thought that she is the type that she doesn't have time to deal with childish games until Nijmegen ask the question about who ask her to play hide and seek.

Nijmegen: "Was it U-556 who ask her?"

U-1206 nod which Nijmegen sigh.

Nijmegen: "Of course she is part of this plan."

Nijmegen explain that U-556 is the only U-Boat or kansen that Bismarck listen too because she trust U-556 more than the other girls which that U-Boat has the nickname of Knight of Bismarck. He also inform me that it was U-556 that went rescuing Bismarck when she was sinking during the Battle of the Atlantic during the war against Azur Lane.

Nijmegen: "I'm worry about her mental state if something happens to Bismarck."

U-556 always love Bismarck and want to spend time with her which is understandable because it sounds like I will have a mental state if something happens to Enterprise if she disappear from this world. That reminds of him of his past during his childhood when the girls are living in Orphanage for kansens and have to visit for a week. I used to play with Enterprise when we were kids until it was time for me to return to Alaska Experimental Facility for about 15 years until it was time for me to join Azur Lane. I'm surprise that Hornet and Yorktown remember me during those times. U-1206 decide to join us for lunch while hiding from Bismarck, but we start to think that Bismarck already know because she is standing behind her without her realizing it.

Bismarck: "It."

Bismarck touch U-1206 on the top of her head before leaving to find the other U-Boats that is hiding from Bismarck.

U-1206: "Time for me to play something else."

U-1206 left us while things are quiet until Nijmegen talk.

Nijmegen: "That was.... Something."

I nod and continue to drink my coffee. I can hear my phone ringing which is Tribunal who request some milk and sugar from the market. I finish drinking my coffee and pay my bill before heading to the market.

I was able to get some milk and sugar for Tribunal, but I don't know what she is doing with those items; probably something to do with the Royal Navy maids or Sakura business, but at least I was nearby to help her out. She wasn't feeling well for couple of days so I decide to deal with heavy loading for the time being until she is feel better. I look at the milk and sugar, but the problem is I don't know what kind of milk she wants, so I text her to see which kind of milk she wants and she wants Whole which I have in my hand.

Gettysburg: "Looks like I was right for the first time. I wonder this is how husband feel about helping his wife. Happiness? Probably...... I forgot to buy that."

I look at some sweets that Tribunal is looking forward to eat. I grab those before heading to the checkout area and pay 200 coins. I head home.

I return home where I notice Tribunal staring at something in the mirror before she notice me in the mirror which shock her and put her shirt down.

Tribunal: "Gettysburg; got the stuff?"

I show her the bag including the sweets that she wants which makes her happy, but I question her about what she is doing looking at the mirror.

Gettysburg: "Something wrong? You been focus on the mirror."

Tribunal: "I start to notice a lump in my stomach and I don't know what it is. I contact Vestal today and see what she knows."

I start to think about something which I draw the events that led to this day. Yesterday she suffer a morning sickness which Vestal told me that it is a early sign of pregnancy and I start to add together which I pass out after hearing my name from Tribunal.

Tribunal(shock): "GETTYSBURG!"

I'm going to be a father.
